For example, UK gives ony slightly more aid to India than to Pak - for our 2 trillion dollar economy, what they give is peanuts, and we have in fact officially requested them to stop the aid. But the same money for your 200 billion dollar economy is a lifeline. And you are currently begging all and sundry for more aid.

Sure, we have poverty - but our entire economy doesn't survive on bakshish, like yours.

The official govt website says that the total aid to India in that year was 284 million pounds - not 1.6 billion as you claimed. The next PDF you provided states that EU's humanitarian aid to India in 2013 was 9.37 million pounds.
