Pakistan wanted to be an Islamic nation, They Got it. They all are happy to be Muslim and then Pakistani.
We wanted to be a Secular nation, We Got it and we are Happy to be Indian. Religion secondary and personal choice.
Whatever - It was good for India and i am sure good for Pakistan too. Both Should be Happy.

True. secular country where one hindu dont eat the food cooked by another lower hindu ..where religious riots happened very often ...where peoples killed their daughters for doing marriage with person of different religion..where minorities are being discriminated and kept poor and used for vote banks..where state oppressed the rights of Kashmir peoples.
New Recruit
well my gradfather from my mother's side was from aligarh university he joined the pakistan army when he came here,my grandfather from my fathers side served the army,my father serving in the army so is my mother who served in the army,my uncles/from both sides have served the pak army, aviation, intellegience, even my aunts were married off to army officers,we have never called ourselves muhajir, urdu speaking,my grandmother always used to tell us of how they escaped patiala during partition,we grew up so proud of pakistan no one called us urdu speaking or hindustani, because we were always pakistan first,we never believed in sindhi punjabi bauluchi muhajir we only believed in pakistan beacuse that was the ideology of pakistan.

Don't allow me to post things about Pakistan and what's happening in Pakistan. I really don't want to. You have little knowledge about other religion and Why are you bothered about any religion of India. Take care of yourself Man. We are Indians. I have not used anything religious for India in this thread
There are more religious riots happened in Karachi than whole India.
Kashmir - I don't want to say as i am fed up with posting same thing every now and then for ages on so many sites.
I can change my religion for Nation. But I can't change My Nation. For me, My Religion is not so important compare with My Nation. Not Hard to Understand.
Anyway, The Topic is not which is better Secular or Religious Nations. We are Happy with our Secular Nation and you are happy with Islamic Nation. What's the Fuss About ?? No one is saying anything to you, So you also don't have right to say. We are Happy being Indian and I am sure You are also Happy. We will see in 2047 and will do post mortem on occasion of 100 year of Celebrations) Till then Enjoy !!
partition helped India. but, sadly the new country of Pakistan will be an eternal enemy for India. it is proved from the first days of Independence
I believe, many parts of current day Pakistan has a completely different culture, especially Sindh and westwards and are not the same people . it was a need to partition as they are culturally also closer to middle east in many ways rather than Bharat.
