What changes do you want in our education system ?

Public is the power , its democrazy .
To force leadership giving a better educational system , public need to be aware. If they dont have awareness how can u expect leadership to be working.
We are some sheeps and cattles ruled by some donkeys. We allowed them rule us.

Let us hope that the nation chooses wisely in the next election, if and when they are allowed to happen.

  • All 4 provinces need to have same education standard
  • The Education mode needs to be in English and quality of Teachers need to high, shitty teachers will make shitty students. Teachers who lack quality and who can't maintain their yearly training goals should be replaced
  • First 2-5 grades should focus on character building of child i.e strong character to differentiate between Good and wrong , taking bribe or not , cheating or not cheating. Teaching students value of cleaning by helping to clean class room and school tidy
  • Country need to setup Research and Development centers for Design / Thinking jobs
  • Curriculum needs to be based on successful International Schools of world and that of international quality kicks in grade 5th to 12th
  • History has to be taught on Civilization and Islamic Empires till formation of Pakistan and Turkey
Jobs need to be available immediately after graduation from Universities

  • National Goal should be creation of 1 Million Jobs each year

95% National Literacy goal needs to be objective

Sure Ali haider.

I am on record on PDF in saying openly that Imran Khan should be persuaded by whatever means necessary to become the Education Minister for Life, and achieve the same revolution in education as he did for cancer care in the country. (That is my personal view.)

main pdf tay sex education minister lagan :P ( kia karien akhir fisalabadi hain na kabhi kabhi jugat control nahi hoti )

acha on serious note yar main confuse hon is issue pay ek taraf agar in ko co education main parhaon kay to jo tension or
curiosity hoti hay genders kay bech woh khatam ho jaye gi.but on the other hand bc us waqat banda waqey hi pagal hoa hota hay pata nahi kia kia kar jana hay inhon nay:astagh:

Haha. Exactly. 6th standard tak he sahe hy.

Which is exactly why I posted this earlier:

Ok. Now as you reminded me.

Point # 1. will save billions as currently on one hand we have girls primary schools on other hand we have boys primary schools. Many schools do not operate on its full capacity and many are over crowded. Now lets assume the girls primary school in your village have 40 girls only while boys primary school have 200 boys. So by combjnjng both of them you will have a single efficient school with lot of resources.

Point # 9 saves millions of kids from buying new books every year and from paying tution fee , notes expenditures etc. Which amounts in billions.

Other points have no or very little effect on expenditures but they do increase efficiency and accountability.

Then let's hope PTI win enough seats to form a central government next year by due and proper process. Then we can evaluate the performance during their term.

Olevel and Alevel teachers milk students as much as they can. Teachers don't teach properly in school and promote thier academies. Academy fee is around 10k per subject in lahore for Alevels and round 6000 per subject for olevels. Plus school fee exceds 125k for 3 months in private school such Roots and LGS.:(
That's exactly what needs to be changed the mafia system. They are all "Daku,Choor"
Bro the best thing to do is hire a private tutor at your home and you can complete Both O and A levels in less than 15 months. I know a private tutor may not be cheap but it can save alot of time, money and you have better concentration compared to a school.

Even though I can’t vote... (Overseas Pakistani), my choice would be PTI. I would regret voting for him due to some stuff he says like the time he told people to stop paying taxes or how he handled APS and the very loose wording used in Dharnas. However he is the best option out of all of them, even though PTI is filled with corrupt, former PPP members.

PTI has not had a chance and deserves one... However when was the last time any political party or Siasat shows talked about the Manifesto?

Keeping in mind that human brain is like a sponge until puberty, the most critical development education must be before reaching this age.

1. Demolish the current 'staff and consumers for industrialists' schooling system ... throw this western (prussian) shit in the bin, it is mass producing dumbos

2. From Age 4 to Age 13 (10 years): Strong focus on 4 languages namely Urdu, Quranic Arabic (along with Quran), English and Cantonese. Add maths early and basic introduction to other subjects from age 9 onwards (as part of language development). This is the age to develop Wisdom and Critical Thinking with mastering of languages.

3. Survival and entrepreneurial skills taught from Age 4 to Age 13.

4. Age 13 to Age 15: In-depth introduction to other subjects (sciences, business, finance etc)

5. 5 hours school daily to Age 13, then 6 hours to Age 15, then 7 hours to Age 20

6. High quality teachers and excellent mentors are a must to direct the child to the field where he/she would excel and has strong interest in. Nurturing of an individual should be a priority. No marks/grades sytem crap.

7. Age 15-20: Whichever field the child wants to specialise in, that should be their main taught subject for the next 6 years of study. This would include practical experience as well.

8. Age 20 is when the formal education stops. Up to masters and many professional qualifications in most fields can be achieved easily by this age and within 6 years of focus study.

It is radical but that's what I would do and that's what we need to.

Our education system forces students to focus on ratta( memorising text books) and cramming instead of actual learning through conceptual study . Students are not interested in learning but just getting good grades and they often lack critical thinking, reasoning. Syllabus is often outdated and teachers in government schools are trained poorly who discourage independent learning and thinking in students

Its all about priorities ......... finances and resources are not a problem .......... but why would ruling elite wish to set their priorities right when abundance of illiterate or even jobless Master degree holders facilitates their agenda and existence. All the more reason to loot and plunder under the guise of BB card, Sehat card, neeli peeli taxi, laptop, tandoor etc etc .......... The day FBR in Pakistan is held to task and made accountable for each and every receipt of money (mind it a lot of tax collection in Pakistan doesn't get documented, as the person paying tax isn't even aware of it) .............. we would witness that it was never about fund shortage ........ but corruption and leakages that kept us deprived.

Hello,
Please give your points what changes do you need in our education system ?
What do you think is wrong in it and what can be done to make it better .

I want these changes ;
1- Either make all schools in Pakistan English medium or Urdu medium . The difference of languages is creating problems for students especially to those who study in urdu medium and then switch to English in their later college or uni life .

I did my matric in 1989, when it was compulsory to study in urdu. Half way through the course, our system was converted to English again. Without making any statement i still remember and understand the stuff i studied in Urdu. In my view system should be Urdu with English terminologies.

2- Our courses are outdated , we are reading same things since 10 years in pak studies and other subjects , we need to modernise it .
Well of course, plus we need to make our schools fun places to be. They should be institute of character building not just academic jails.

3- There should be concentration on sex education too so that our students develop such differences in their later life and knows how to react to molestion , harrasment and rapes etc .
Yes especially boys should be taught to respect women. Same goes for girls too but to a lesser extent.

4- Admission fees , that range to fifty thousand or thirty thousands really make me sick in the private institutions . Private schools should re consider their admission fees and monthly fees .
At the moment we can not deny the fact that certain private school systems are investing alot in the education. They have only one source of funding i.e. parents

5- We should be encouraging debates between students on the social issues so their minds are opened and they dont fall for conservative propoganda.
Interestingly at one point you want students to debate and then you are giving your verdicts regarding the conservatives propaganda. If we honestly go for debate we will have to give same time to "conservative propaganda" too. That may also result otherwise !!! I hope you are prepared for that too.

6- Sports should be compulsory for every student. It shouldnt be optional .
The most important which should be compulsory should be art. With art you learn to express yourself, dream and with dreams you innovate. Unfortunately we don't dream anymore.
