Look who's talking???
Just FYI-Hindu extremists dont blow themselves up.
The problem lies within yourself...yes, you!!!
The problem is you turn a blind eye towards your issues and are quick to raise a finger at others.
After a few decades if the world has changed a lot and both countries have matured with a lot of change in the civilian mindset, then maybe go for talks.
New Recruit
India should try and force a military coup in Pakistan which will shame them further in the eyes of the global community.
no, but Raheel Sharif has quite a bit of leverage over the other Sharif, and if Noora keeps stumbling and fumbling his foreign policy, the General may feel the need to emerge from the shadows and take the helm.Sir, how do you propose India should bring about this Coup de'tat ?
You think India has some leverage over Raheel Sharif ?
Please Elaborate .......
no, but Raheel Sharif has quite a bit of leverage over the other Sharif, and if Noora keeps stumbling and fumbling his foreign policy, the General may feel the need to emerge from the shadows and take the helm.
not like it's never happened before
by failing Pakistan's foreign policy by refusing any dialogue or any diplomatic engagement on Kashmir, your army will resent Kashmir being put in cold storage.. you know the rest..Yeah, but you said India should make it happen. My question is how are you going to make him comply with your wishes ?
Obviously, he has not chosen that option on his own.
I would like to hear about your GAME PLAN....
by failing Pakistan's foreign policy by refusing any dialogue or any diplomatic engagement on Kashmir, your army will resent Kashmir being put in cold storage.. you know the rest..
or, we could each just go our own way and completely ignore the other
but is another coup in these troubled times for Pakistan really that much of a stretch ?
well, that's good I suppose, a coup would spell international disaster for Pakistan, something you can ill afford at this time.Yes it is.
If you consider what we have gone through in last 7 to 8 years since Musharraf left and the Army has justifiably resisted the temptation, despite the fact that Pak Army Popularity is at its all time high, you would know why.
Talks for what?
India and Pakistan talk anyways, at multiple levels. Look at us here. What are we doing?
Talks at a state level are round and round the mulberry bush. Terrorism and Kashmir.
And to be honest, nether are they getting Kashmir, nor we getting rid of terrorism.
Both of these will be achieved through force, not words. Because both of these came out of the failure of words and the employment of force.
I used to say this before, and I am glad to repeat it again here on PDF.
Peace between India and Pakistan as we have always known it is the temporary cessation of all out war.
True peace between India and Pakistan will and can only come when one of the two is no longer able to wage war.
And a corollary.
India and Pakistan have historically gone to war whenever we have talked the most. Is there a lesson in there somewhere? I think there is.
Talks for trade basically and if they want to co-operate then we can access other markets easily (Central Asian).
