What can be new assignment for Chinese navy.

There is hot debate going on different forums, Which area Chinese navy will concentrate after Gawadar port operational. Because a huge chunk of Chinese navy will be removed from Indian ocean, where before they were providing different security and escorted related duties to Chinese merchant ships or ships bound to China. According to China , Gawadar will be operational next year or in 7 months.

For the starter, they will do nothing .. but help PN increase their Ship building Capability .. and as soon as the Subs start entering service, and PN's decision on Next Frigate , I don't think we will need PLAAN and their presence in Gwader ..

According to Chinese forum， Chinese will do nothing.
Gawadar port has five functions:
1、consolidate PAK-CHN friendship
2、help Pakistan develop their economy
3、prevent India waging a war with Pakistan
4、helping Iran，consolidate Iran-pakistan-china relationship
5、add a new route for Chinese energy supply.Reduce the dependence on the strait of malacca
so I guess there will be a lot of business ship,while Chinese navy do nothing

And anther AC under construction on emergency basis...Now the area of concentration is South China sea ..Because new AC will not be stationed Chinese water.

We will not send too many ships to Indian ocean to stimulate India and US at the moment. But more training with Pakistan Navy will happen for sure. A navy base at Bagamoyo is much more possible as there would be less objection from neighboring countries.
