What are roles and responsibilities of an ICTO?

I am interested in joining Pak Army as an ICTO since I am very close to completion of my BSCS.

However, I am confused about following:

1. What are the roles and responsibilities of ICTO,e.g. what their work includes
2. What is work schedule? (e.g. any rotating shifts? working hours per day?
3. What is promotion criteria in this field? (e.g. How one can step up to major and up)
4. Which field is better in Pak Army e.g. ICTO or Corps Of Signal in Software Engineering?
