What's new

Welcome to Vietnam: Harris arrives Hanoi for a 3 day visit

human sea tactics. It wasn't World War I.
It never worked, even during middle age, anyone with even the slightest military knowledge knew that, that's why just smile and ignored such nonsense.
He is in Vietnam right now, must be frustrated to be locked inside Saigon. :-)
I dont see any problem when the soldiers wear like that. In our tactic, we will send the sapper forces to attack first. We dont use human wave attack like CN bcs PLA sappers suck, bro

He said no, lol, and are you one of the Vietnam army's top brass, so you can speak for them?

All right, stop lying.

The US military has enough automatic firepower and ammunition. It can't win the USA by relying on human sea tactics. It wasn't World War I.

The Chinese army uses triangle tactics and never uses human sea tactics.

whatever, PLA used human wave attack in VN, not mentioning Deng had to beg help from US spy sattelite for Intel to avoid VN's ambushes

--------------
The Chinese troop deployments were observed by U.S. spy satellites, and the KH-9 Big Bird photographic reconnaissance satellite played an important role. In his state visit to the U.S. in 1979, the Chinese paramount leader Deng Xiaoping was presented with this information and asked to confirm the numbers. He replied that the information was completely accurate. After this public confirmation in the U.S., the domestic Chinese media were finally allowed to report on these deployments

VN is more capable of using human wave attacks than China can. The average Viets are not much literate, produce less GDP than a Chinese does, and so therefore more expendable. Vietnamese population is so high anyway and the Vietcom doesn't care if these poor Vietnamese die by millions. Just ask the GIs and they know. Vietcoms taught 80 years old village women and 7-years-old boys shooting AK47s at the passing by GIs and throwing grenades at them.

Only the South Korean Flying Tigers scared the shit out of the pathetic Vietcoms. The way the SK soldiers fought was: If one of their soldiers got killed by a Vietnamese civilian there, they will annihilate all the nearby villages. They didn't bother like the American GIs or Australian soldiers going through the population looking for a possible Vietcom inflitration. After a couple such annihilations, SK soldiers walked into Vietnamese villages like touring the shopping malls. Uncle Sam was afraid such tactics would backfire at them so they sent the SK soldiers packing home.

There's a piece of the Vietnamese human wave attack history. Enjoy.
You're welcome.

CN army simply can't fight against VN without hep from daddy US.

There is no doubt that these Vietnamese fishing vessels are seriously violating China’s sovereignty and maritime rights and interests. Even worse, their activities seem to be purposely organized, likely being indulged by the Vietnamese government and relevant institutions. Generally, such activities of the Vietnamese fishing vessels can bring risks in two aspects:

First of all, such Vietnamese fishing vessels are suspected to be engaged in illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing which are banned by international laws. To tackle on IUU fishing, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) adopted the International Plan of Action to Prevent, Deter and Eliminate Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing (IPOA-IUU) in 2001 and demanded all states and international fisheries management organizations to implement the IPOA-IUU for protecting fishery resources. International organizations, mainly FAO, also compiled and developed matching rules and systems to regulate and restrain rampant IUU fishing. According to existing rules, IUU fishing is normally identified in non-disputed waters. In contested waters, however, fishing rights are unclear due to overlapping claims. Therefore, there is yet any consensus concerning the identification of IUU fishing.

Something the Vietnamese are similar to the Indians: They could not admit defeats. The PLA beat the crap out of Vietnamese. PLA eliminated all but one major divisions of the Vietnamese armies near Hanoi. Hanoi could be easily taken but that was not China's objective. Hanoi was so damn scared and called Soviet Daddy every hour crying and begging for help and immediately retrieved all of its best fighting divisions from Cambodia (where they were doing massacres for fun on the Cambodians -- why not, the Bolbot did and so they could do it too. Nobody reporting at the time anyway.)

As far as war objectives are concerned, China got theirs and the Vietnamese were forced to withdraw from Cambodia. Now do you know why Cambodians hate you Vietnamese and stay close to China even though Cambodia doesn't even border China. But Vietnamese love the American story -- China lost. Americans love that ending because they lost the Vietnam War and no way they would allow a history that says China beat the crap out of Vietnam.

Since then, Vietnam behaved. No more bragging they were the No. 3 fight forces in the world after the Soviets and Americans. Yup, you heard it right. This was the beliefs and propaganda the Vietnamese feeding their citizens in 1976-79 until the 'lesson' delivered by PLA to the Vietcoms.

1. The Chinese taught the Vietnamese to use tunnel tactics. The head coach of your army is Chen Geng. From July to October 1950, Chen Geng led the Officer training regiment to train and command the Vietnamese, defeated the French and won Vietnam's independence.

2. China did not use human sea tactics in Vietnam. China used positional strangulation tactics against Vietnam because we need to force the Vietnamese to consume all their national strength in positional warfare. This cannot be achieved by mobile warfare.
From April 1984 to April 1993, we let the Vietnamese spend nine years on the position., until the Vietnamese were close to collapse

Vietnam deployed soldiers on Monday to help enforce a strict COVID lockdown in Ho Chi Minh City, its biggest urban area and current epicentre of its worst coronavirus outbreak to date.

Are you a Buddhist by any chance, I am not but I guess Karma does exist it seems.

No, Saigon should be locked down in 10 years.
@Viet Do you agree with your fellow countryman?

I dont see any problem when the soldiers wear like that.
I don't see the problem at all too, I am happy to see China going hypersonic while our neighbor vietnam going after hyper truck.

1.The Chinese taught the Vietnamese to use tunnel tactics ?? CN learn this tactic from German or Soviet instead, CN could not even make a proper gun in WW 1, let alone inventing tunnel tactics.

2. If did not use human sea tactics in Vietnam, then explain why abt 26,000 PLA were killed in 1979 even when VN didn't even use tank to attack CN troops while CN had 400 tanks plus CN got support from US's Intel to avoid VN's ambushes ??

SO Vietnamese fishing vessels seriously violating China’s sovereignty and maritime rights and interests around Hainan naval base is our "defeats". ?? wow, I can't save u from Ah Q's mind

-------------
The story traces the "adventures" of Ah Q, a man from the rural peasant class with little education and no definite occupation. Ah Q is famous for "spiritual victories", Lu Xun's euphemism for self-talk and self-deception even when faced with extreme defeat or humiliation. Ah Q is a bully to the less fortunate but fearful of those who are above him in rank, strength, or power. He persuades himself mentally that he is spiritually "superior" to his oppressors even as he succumbs to their tyranny and suppression.

Lu Xun exposes Ah Q's extreme faults as symptomatic of the Chinese national character of his time. The ending of the piece is equally poignant and satirical.

viva viet, military genius, may I asked how are they communicating with each other if they are all naked.
I really hoped that you are the top general of vpa right now.
how are they communicating with each other ?? No, they just quietly enter the enemies bases and kill the enemies.

No one taught you that VN sapper destroyed CN Cymbeline radar (cost 10 million USD ) and kill CN troops during VN-CN war , even when the sappers were all naked ??
