What's new

"We want a separate country for Pashtuns, it's language will be Pashto" Manzoor Pashteen

he wants separate country for pushtoons and its language will be Pushto
I hope he figured it out by himself

I would rather have a separate country for Pushtoon and its language will be Sindhi

The reply you'll get is: be patient.

What these idiots don't understand is that the damage caused during that 'patience' (usually cowardice) to state and society is essentially irreparable even if the movements are eventually defeated.

Why not just nip it in the bud? Pathetic status quo-loving "yes men" have filled up every institution in droves. It's scary and sad in equal measure.

All of the above is via personal experience... which makes it even more depressing.

Exactly the "liberal" establishment that Pakistan is having these days doesn't understand one thing that in real life positive is not same in its impact to negative of the same magnitude. Negative always wins hands down on Positive. It takes seconds to demolish a skyscraper building (negative thing) but would require years to rebuild it (positive thing). That is how the things in real life work, one should therefore always ensure to nullify the negatives even if one has to use the force or take extreme measures because the damage done by the negatives takes years to rectify even if it is reparable.

I have no problem with his demand, if majority of Pashtuns (at least 2/3rd of them) would vote to have their own country with the name of "Pashtunistan" with Pashto as their national language, then good for them. But one thing I am sure this Pashtunistan will be one the most poor and backward country in the world on par with the sub-Saharan African countries.

What makes you think Pakistan is better than sub-Saharan African countries today?

Kenyan shillings are better than Pakistan rupees

God bless Pakistan

That is all I have to say

Exactly! Even a school-going child understands this, but those with PhDs from NDU and endless War Courses and real world experience with insurgencies under their belt don't!
