Further Analysis Required! Anyone Knows Pashto Language here?

He wanted Sindhudesh within Pakistan. He was an opportunist he just wanted to let go go Hindu control of money in Sindh.

To see what an ethnonationalist movement actually feels, look at what the foot soldiers and mid level management says, leadership doesn't reveal "true" feelings. For example, Sorath Sindhu on twitter reveals what a lot of JSQMwalas feel. Among PTM/NDM/ANP/PKAMP circles there is a lot of talk about how Pashtuns of Pakistan are becoming "desified" and how we aren't sticking to our culture and women are marrying non Pashtuns yada yada yada. Basically alt right talking points.

They lament that ANP during its tenure wasn't as aggressive as PPP was for language. They also are envious of the fact that GM Syed created a long lasting conscious for his people, while Bacha Khan and Faqir Ipi failed. So there's a respect from PKMAP/PTM/ANP/NDM circles towards Baloch ethnonationalists and Sindhi ethnonationalists as well as Saraiki ethnonationalists.

Cultural preservation is a myth, if someone from Lahore in 2022 goes back in time to talk to someone from Jalandhar in 1922, there's going to be an obvious difference. And if someone from Peshawar from 2022 goes back to talk to someone from Jalalabad in 1922, there will be differences as well. Even the way people spoke wasn't the same back then. Cultures change, grow, and evolve.

The most important thing is focusing on the things that matter, like development. Religion seldom changes, but culture always does.

Ethnonationalism never comes with rational thought.

Exactly culture is an evolving thing that wi
Not gonna die out. There's always Afghanistan and India. Isolation and less development leads to more "xenophobia". Education and development is key to make ethnonationalism go away.

But yea it is much better now than in the past. I don't see any major problems with it in the near future (except Karachi).

Yeah thats true, that state needs to promote unity/pakistaniyat and this will also help decrease this poison of provincialism as well as creating more provinces. Ethnonationalists won't like this because they will lose power and won't be able to play ethnic cards anymore.

I mean I didn't even realise PTM/ANP/NDM/PKMAP were still relevant, what are they even holding jalsas for? But PPP back and support PTM so that's where that connection comes to also. But almost all ethnonationalism also have some degree on international backing too

Only people pushing "Pakistaniyat" are drama channels and Junaid Jamshed clothing line, establishment doesn't care. Saraikistan is the only thing they are doing for province issues.

Most of the Pashtuns in Karachi are from Afghanistan and Waziristan, and that is where the bulk of the base is. They are "relevant" just not as big among Pashtuns right now.

Well they need to start promoting it and us as Pakistanis need to reject divisive politics. Essentially need good leadership. With good, patriotic leadership can solve every problem in a few years maybe even less time than that

Yeh that's what I meant, support for likes of PTM/ANP/PKMAP/NDM etc has decreased? I mean when PTM first started they had a lot of social media presence etc but now that seems to have decreased, also ppl can see through their bs tbh.

Another thing, if they hate Pakistan so much why live here? They are free to return to Afghanistan..

Karachi belongs to Pashtuns now. We have the key of it. Nothing can happen here without our consent....

Palejo people are called samath Sindhi, the original Sindhis. These are different from zerdari, magsi, Chakrani who are originally baroch and sial, jam, bhutta, laghari who are originally siraiki. Bhutto himself was siraiki, not Sindhi 😁
Pta nahi Sindh main chal Kia raha Hai. Aik lot Mar ki dastan Hai.... Allah rehem Kary Sindhion pe, or baqi tamam Pakistanion pe.

Mugsi right hand man was an Arain from Punjab, I don't know if he became a "Sindhi" or not over time
But definitely weird for an ethno-nationalist to be rolling around with a guy like him

All this ethnic racism were seeing nowadays in Pakistan and even here on pdf proves the dangers of nationalism. When we start shifting away from Islam as our core ideology and go towards “Pakistani nationalism” you’ll see this type of ethnic tensions. Islam is what unites Pakistan. What unites a Sindhi and Muhajir or Muhajir and Pashtun in Pakistan is Islam. If we create a false sense of “Pakistani nationalism” and become nationalist then it goes against the very principles we were founded on. If Islam isn’t uniting us why should a Sindhi allow Muhajir live in Sindh? Why should a Muhajir allow a Pashtun in Karachi? According to nationalism these guys have their own lands their own identities they aren’t the same as us but he only thing in common is they live in a country with us but they have their separate provinces they shouldn’t come to ours. This is why we shouldn’t promote secular ideas because we aren’t Canada we aren’t usa we aren’t Europe. We have 6 different nations in one country who joined the country on the name of Islam. Take away Islam, why should these nations stay with you why should they be part of a bigger country for no reason when they can break away with their ethnic lands and create a more prosperous smaller country for their ethnicity? Focusing on Islam is a must for Pakistan we should always be pushing Islamic narratives. Islam is the only thing that can keep these 6 nations which make up Pakistan united and can make us prosperous. We should stop playing with the dangerous fire of nationalism because once it’s spreads you can’t control it you’ll see etho nationalism everywhere.

Actually Sindhis are quite tolerant if you speak Sindhi. Tbh, not that bad. But, the general traits of Pakistani people are also there in Sindh. And hence the Karachi and hyderabad issue.
