What's new

We are Pakistanis...

AM:

The pre-conditions for the plebiscite were never satisfied by all the three parties: India, Pakistan and China.

The right thing for you to do would be to stop poking us so that the IA can go back to the barracks... The issue is you want what we have so that you can claim to have convincingly defeated us atleast once. Your actions with regard to NA and the land transferred to PRC speak volumes on your intentions vis-a-vis the region.
The thread for discussion over apportioning blame for the lack of implementation of the UN resolutions has been pointed out to you

As I argued in the other thread, the issue isn't ho is to blame for not implementing, but that the roadmap for resolving the dispute has been laid out in the condition of a plebiscite in the Instrument of Accession, and in the UN resolutions.

The right thing to do would be to implement the resolutions in some fashion.

And Vish, I am getting tired of your lies and distortions now - Where does 'trying to claim to have convincingly defeated you' come in? You have some serious insecurity issues. Kashmir has been a territorial dispute since independence, there had been no wars and 'defeats' then, so how would the rubbish you just put up here as a reason exist? Stop trolling.

I have already answered RR's holy post and his "blame-India" rhetoric in another post. So I'll skip it here.

The resolutions will not be implemented because we Indians do not want them to. There are reasons for this, and some of these reasons are your own making (GB, Territory transfer to China). We also will repeal Article 370, cause the pampering of the region has gone a bit too much.

The only reason you want the Valley is to have a one-up on us; face it, that is your only realistic chance. This is my view, and if you see this as "lies and distortions" you are free to do so. I'm also very much disillusioned by the "moral high ground" you often take.

Any which ways, a piece of advice, stop getting personal.

That you are not implementing the resolutions is clear, and the 'reasons' were never raised by India with Pakistan - i.e. India saying, "Unless you can include Aksai Chen into the whole package, we won't implement UN resolutions".

Instead, India, realizing it had no chance of winning a referendum, chose to just refuse to implement the resolutions period. So that argument does not hold.

You are quite hung up on this article 370 thing, repeating it ad infinitum on every thread. Until its actually done though, its just speculation.

Please stop rewriting history - are you going to seriously sit her and tell me that the issues over Kashmir, Hyderabad, Junagadh etc. did not exist in 1947? Those territorial disputes arose because of how the instrument of partition was to be executed, and based on the conditions of partition Pakistan has a legitimate claim to Kashmir, as recognized by the UN.

I am sorry, but for you to take that claim that exists from independence and try to paint it as 'wanting what we have', 'trying to claim victory for once' is just BS. The dispute over Kashmir has existed since partition and is an unresolved part of the partition.

Given that you are now contradicting history to throw in such rubbish, I do consider you to be trolling.

Please read the various threads on Kashmir before repeating the same arguments again.

Limiting the plebiscite to the Kashmir valley is one 'out of the box' solutions that has been proposed - the official position of Pakistan is that the plebiscite be held based on UNSC resolutions, which I believe would cover the entire former princely state.

If the same subject gets repeated again.. so will the same arguments.

You should consider yourself lucky. These arguments have been disproved many times, yet you repeat them. I'd have considered each of them trolling, after an argument has been disproved, and is then repeated.
