One F-2 costs the same as four Block 52/52 F-16Cs.

Its used as a single-seat, close-support and anti-ship role with secondary defensive counter air-role.

It's basically being made so that Japan can keep its aerospace industry going.
It runs on a single General Electric F-110-GE-129 rated at 17000 lb st (72.62kN).

The Ching-Kuos a decent fighter.
