Washingtonpost: Straight out of the Nazi playbook’: Hindu try to engineer ‘genius’ babies in India

Of course it is shifting of goal post. Planetary configuration was only one of their many recommendations. The others were about diet and the environment at home and mantras. Their claim was also not just restricted to the physical attributes of the child but its mental, spiritual, and psychological aspects to.

You are clearly contradicting yourself, i.e., there was much more to the recommendations hence I didn't shift the goal post. I have been vindicated.

Humour aside, the part that I feel is troublesome is the subtle racism that somehow "dark-skinned" human beings are lesser. Hence, one must aspire to fair complexion or grow taller. I don't think there is any religious subtext here.

Here's the statement of Dr Hitesh Jani, national convener, Arogya Bharati, which I'm referring to:

The parents may have lower IQ, with a poor educational background, but their baby can be extremely bright. If the proper procedure is followed, babies of dark-skinned parents with lesser height can have fair complexion and grow taller.

.
I just applied Vedic science today and produced electromagnetic fields in my room :woot::woot::woot:Thank you Vedic twig and leaf procedure with planetary alignment :chilli::chilli::chilli:
Just be careful while you do this, it might end up you being met with your god. or if you are lucky, that twig and leaf getting stuffed up your behind by those magnetic and electric fields:omghaha:

No, you have not vindicated yourself. Your question was explicitly pertaining to conception and planetary configuration which you sought to slither out of later.

It was your shifted goal post question which I answered by bringing in facts relevant to it.

There is no racism whatsoever hinted anywhere in that answer. The person is obviously not saying that a child of different race will be born to the parents. Within our own brown color skin there are various shades and each person has their own personal preferences and you can't sit on their head because they have a preference. What he considers fair is still brown for White. This man would recoil in horror if a white racial child was born to brown parents cause that was never his intent.

Vedic science is infallible it produce Vedic spaceships and nuclear weapons :omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:

No longer a debate here. By your own admission, the recommendations are broad which they are. Ergo, I've been vindicated and no goal post ever shifted.

Explain how is this not discrimination? Why does a dark-skinned child needs to be fair? or tall? What part of Indic science promotes this view? By defending what is clearly wrong, you are demeaning million of people on this planet. Don't defend these positions. Please. There is no religious subtext here, no India vs Pakistan. There are dark-skinned people in Pakistan. This is a question of basic humanity.

I dont think it is related to the racism issue, it merely the sense of extreme inferiority complex within Hindus specially when they look at Pakistanis. They want their next generation to be taller and fair skinned.

Sorry, but you are wrong here. Koti is Koti and crore. It does not talk about types of Gods but the number of Gods. The number of Gods correlated with the number of humans at that time when it was written. It basically means you create your own God. So there are as many Gods as there are Humans or life in the Universe.

will explain in detail later, in the mean time please read below link from Upanishads and blame our education system which runs on foreign scholars interpretations. :)

It is clear as daylight who won the debate here. It is not you.

Where is the discrimination? Who has been attacked or hurt for you to cry discrimination. Stop being silly. Why should there be no liking for a fair or a tall child? Is anyone here hating on dark or small children? If not, what is the discrimination?

These guys are not scientists and they don't talk in politically correct language or scientific language. A whole lot of children are malnutritioned and have stunted growth as per "scientific" studies with various recommendations to govt to work on rectifying this deficit. So when people do not want stunting of their own children is that being discriminatory? Does not talking in scientific or politically correct language make one a racist? All parents want their children to be better off than them. We all seek to leave behind a generation which is better than us both physically as well as morally. This is the truth of every society in the world and entire world's effort is in that direction. This is basic humanity and you won't find a more humane society than India.

Please there are as many interpretations here as there are humans. This is no foreign scholar interpretation. What I said was based on what our Gurus have said in plain English.
