Wasfia mounts Everest: Dedicates her feat to Bangladeshi women

.
Al Zakir@ As we know it from Quran, using Cross and any other sign of Pagans is prohibited, you are correct, but then again its not a religious forum, i do encourage people to talk about political aspect of Islam though!

. .
Let me clear about sari. I am not against it. The thing is when you show your top back, your belly, part of your breast under bra and blouse and if the sari is see through, then my brothers, it is against islam. But you can follow islamic dress code by any cultural dress. For example, skirt was as long as the leg now you can see almost women's bottom. And another thing, muslim suppose not to follow any other culture. They are muslim and and they should keep islamic dress code. Except big heads know is a religion but not also way of life and when it is way of life it means culture.
oh dear when I saw the lady, I saw her expression, her nose ring, her hairstyle and you my pious brother saw her breasts, bra, belly and what not!
lanat.

what about western attire, that's as much a Christian symbol as much tip is pagan.

well look at the brighter side, atleast they are people of the book.

Present Bd government doesn't represent Muslim population of that land. It's purely a Hindu culture friendly govenment. I will reinstate my Bd flag when Hindu dalal hasina/al depart from the scene.

Fair enough. So why don't Bd cut relation with USA? Why taking donation from USA or why USA is so important in Bd's politics? :undecided:

Nevertheless, USA does not prevent Muslims to practice their religion unlike so called muslim nation called bangladesh where some time Madrasa students are barred from admitting in university, religious people are label as terrorist and women are facing harassment for wearing Burka or Hijab. :undecided

Do you wear Dhoti when you go to Masjid or Kurta pajama? :coffee:

awww zakir advocating for the sickularist, what the world has come into. aren't secularism haram zakir? by aren't you paying taxes to great Satan which is once again haram? aren't you earning haram money by deposating it Jewish banks. eh salie?

No, if he or you defend the culture of Tilak then your family member must wear it otherwise you are hypocrite(munafiq). :azn:

. . . .
Islamic culture has nothing to do with Arabic culture. :what:

I would like to know if your grandmother or mother wear Tilak on forehead.(no disrespect) :what:

Have you ever found a Hindu naming their children from Quran or have you ever seen one wear Hijab?

Unlike you, I have the opportunity to meet Muslims from all across the world including India. I can assured you that Indian Muslims never wear Tilak on their forehead. So culturally they are more Muslims than so called some bangladeshi Muslims. Lanat.

Zakir, she is wearing a bindi which is an item of adornment / makeup worn by women around the world including Arab / Western women as a fashion statement.

Tilak/Sindhur are different and have a religious significance.

The consensus ruling afaik is that if a women wears a bindi as a matter of beauty/makeup, it is allowed. The only thing prohibited is attaching religious significance to wearing it. (Something to protect from the evil eye if I recall)

In any case, it should a proud day for BD that one of their national was able to climb Mt. everest. Focusing on petty things like this misses the point.

I wouldn't like to make a khichuri of religion and culture, thats it.
My maternal forefathers were Muslim Jamindars, big conservative family so i assume my grandmother didn't wear tip.But things evolve with time, though i never saw my mother wearing tip but i saw her early photos wearing Jeans and long t-shirts.
You are in no position to lecture me while residing in a country of free sex and secularism. On top of that you are governed by Jionists, your tax money is being used to kill innocents in Palestine. How come you even surviving there??

That guy is a nut case...no point arguing with him.

We should take this lady into our fold, she clearly looks a Bharti and goes against Bangladeshi norms by exposing, in Bangladeshi's parlance, "top back, your belly, part of your breast under bra and blouse".

She would anyway love to leave the second worst city in the world.
