Wasfia mounts Everest: Dedicates her feat to Bangladeshi women

Islamic culture has nothing to do with Arabic culture. :what:

There's no such thing as "Islamic culture".

I would like to know if your grandmother or mother wear Tilak on forehead.(no disrespect) :what:

You just did.

Have you ever found a Hindu naming their children from Quran or have you ever seen one wear Hijab?

Irrelevant.

Unlike you, I have the opportunity to meet Muslims from all across the world including India. I can assured you that Indian Muslims never wear Tilak on their forehead. So culturally they are more Muslims than so called some bangladeshi Muslims. Lanat.

And again irrelevant.

.
Sorry...but do you have any sort of identity to be a Bangladeshi? All BD PDF members residing abroad have their location flag of that location keeping BD flag as their own country but for your case both are US flag. I think you disowned yourself from BD. Try to be part of this land first, religion comes later.

Present Bd government doesn't represent Muslim population of that land. It's purely a Hindu culture friendly govenment. I will reinstate my Bd flag when Hindu dalal hasina/al depart from the scene.

The country flag you are using can be termed as the number one enemy of Islam. They have been training their army soldiers playing Azaan in background and setting shooting target of Arabian manikins for almost a decade to simulate original Arab environment war field. Are you a bit shy to stay there sacrificing the value of your religion?

Fair enough. So why don't Bd cut relation with USA? Why taking donation from USA or why USA is so important in Bd's politics? :undecided:

Nevertheless, USA does not prevent Muslims to practice their religion unlike so called muslim nation called bangladesh where some time Madrasa students are barred from admitting in university, religious people are label as terrorist and women are facing harassment for wearing Burka or Hijab. :undecided:

Religion is not culture.

Do you wear Dhoti when you go to Masjid or Kurta pajama? :coffee:

All I got to say - you are a selfish opportunist nut  . You shouldn't be allowed in BD ever.

Now you're enjoying the fruits of SECULARISM.

Religion is not culture.

Religion is a subset of culture, which in simple terms means way of life of people:

Culture and Religion
RELIGION AND CULTURE

Arab traders and later Turkic and then Turko-mongol (Mughal) rule has not only changed entire South Asia, but Bengal social fabric much more heavily than any other part of India. One manifestation of that is the fact that we broke off from India in 1947 as a part of Pakistan and then again for different reasons from Pakistan in 1971. So before making one line simplistic statements, please use a little fairness.

Al-Zakir may be a little biased, but I see the bias on the other side as well.

There should be freedom to choose, whether someone chooses to be more religious or less, I believe it is their personal choice. "There is no compulsion in religion".

I have seen many Bangladeshi Muslim ladies wearing tip, as a fashion, specially on some occasions, probably in the old days before this Hijab wave became more popular lately. So as long as it is not Shindur or Tilak, then I see no problem with it.

I wouldn't like to make a khichuri of religion and culture, thats it.
My maternal forefathers were Muslim Jamindars, big conservative family so i assume my grandmother didn't wear tip.But things evolve with time, though i never saw my mother wearing tip but i saw her early photos wearing Jeans and long t-shirts.
You are in no position to lecture me while residing in a country of free sex and secularism. On top of that you are governed by Jionists, your tax money is being used to kill innocents in Palestine. How come you even surviving there??

So in way you are agree with me that Tip/Tilak is not Muslim tradition. Nothing to do with Arab after all.

I wasn't lecturing rather pointing out a defect in Bangladesh society.

Respect to the lady

BTW she does look kinda sexy in the desi attire.

. .
I have seen modest Hizabi women in Shari! Most of my medical college teachers do that.... Islam doesn't cross react with native culture... You can always maintain your Din without sacrificing culture...... By culture i mean life style not unnecessary dancing singing....The great Muhammad (Pbuh) even allowed music during celebration....

.
Some of you guys misunderstood me about Sari. I am not against Sari at all however there is a difference how Muslim and non-Muslim wear the Sari. :disagree:

I was referring to Tip/Tilak. I believe this Tip/Tilak originated form Hinduism. Challenge me if I am wrong. ;)

.
Let me clear about sari. I am not against it. The thing is when you show your top back, your belly, part of your breast under bra and blouse and if the sari is see through, then my brothers, it is against islam. But you can follow islamic dress code by any cultural dress. For example, skirt was as long as the leg now you can see almost women's bottom. And another thing, muslim suppose not to follow any other culture. They are muslim and and they should keep islamic dress code. Except big heads know is a religion but not also way of life and when it is way of life it means culture.
