What's new

Was Mao Zedong Bad

What did it do ?
For starters, they didn't have an FCRA license, they received funds from shell corporations diverting funds from UK. Sounds pretty illegal to me.
Umar Khalid, Safoora Zargar etc.
You forgot to add AIMIM members who have unsavory speeches in the CAA protests. Not just a Kapil Mishra and I don't think one Kapil Mishra speech is responsible for everything.
From this 2019 article by Kancha Ilaiah ( himself a Dalit intellectual ) :
I'm not asking about a Left-leaning Dalit activist, but Dalit members who made it to the leading left party of India CPIM.
My parents won't tell me bad things about Mao because they are afraid of being killed? LOl, you are really an eye openers for us to realise how Indians primitive minds work, sooo... funny, you really believe that? seriously?
Why? If I live in such a country where kids are reporting their parents. I would keep my mouth shut lol. Why are you surprised, did your parents forget to mention these stories? Like speaking ill of Mao could get you killed? Your own people know for a fact, and you asking me if I believe it? Are you ok?

Haha, your mind is sick, man, very sick, living in your own fantasy for so long.

He did govern well, got rid of the out dated ideas, traditions and views that is holding China back. Economic policies is following the USSR model in the country side which is why it didn’t work. so it’s 70% right and 30% trial and error.

Deng Xiaoping finally got it right using socialist ideas with Chinese characteristics.

maybe because they don't want you to report them and get them killed,

LOL, Then tell me Why this guy is still alive? and still a household name in China owning successful businesses in China? based on your theory, shouldn't he have been shot on the spot by CCP?

Come on, that is just an excuse to throw out this NGO. The main reason is them being a platform for dissenters in India against the ruling party.

If you speak of this particular NGO being in the wrong in the financial sense then there are hundreds of thousands of Indian citizens who do financial illegalities. Is the government starting a hunt for them in the same way it specially booted out this NGO ? The best thing then would be to shut down the micro-credit lending agencies ( like SKS Microfinance ) because these have been the cause of suicides and ruined lives.

You forgot to add AIMIM members who have unsavory speeches in the CAA protests.

I am not a supporter of AIMIM or its main leader Asaduddin Owaisi, particularly his refusal to support that young woman activist Amulya Leona who on that stage in Bangalore only said "Zindabad" to all South Asian countries because of which she was arrested as if she was some criminal.

And then there are regressive elements in AIMIM like Abu Faisal who are basically embarrassments to Islam.

If AIMIM members said wrong things in the anti-CAA protests then those members should be seen as separate from others like Umar and Safoora.

Not just a Kapil Mishra and I don't think one Kapil Mishra speech is responsible for everything.

If properly investigated he will emerge as one of the main organizers of that riot.

I agree that the CPI ( M ) hasn't had a Dalit in its main leadership and in the article Kancha Ilaiah himself speaks about that. But I don't think that party is blind to Dalit sufferings. In 2016 I attended a protest gathering in my city about the suicide of Rohith Vemula and there were all possible progressive groups attending including I think the CPI ( M ).

But in the article Ilaiah welcomes the elevation of the Dalit D Raja to General Secretary post in another left party the CPI.

Without Mao, China would be like today's India, if not worse.
You missed the chance ..Now you can only dream to live in a free country..

If you can believe about primitive mind then what's big issue in it ? Seriously ?

No you can't compare because you don't know what's value of freedom ..Just like broiler chickens ,what's the use even though they weigh a tonne ?
I lived in New York for several years, never impressed me, you guys everyday brag about " free country" and how beautiful it is, I guess it must be India.

Dear member, can you tell me why have Umar Khalid and Safoora Zargar been arrested ?
Before that give me a helping hand by answering my queries ..In a international forum why do you always ask questions to your countrymen most of the time ? Is it habbit or your love for your countrymen exceeds everything ??

Wherever you go ultimately you need to come back to the cage and Mao will be guarding the gate of your consciousness all through ..

Firstly, you are putting out the same logic as those who said that the anti-CAA protests in Delhi should have been suspended during the visit of Trump. Loss of face internationally and all that. Do you object to my right of peaceful dissent ?

Secondly, yes it is my love for the peaceful, progressive and oppressed among my countrymen which sees me writing in support of them and desiring that India ultimately becomes a progressive welfare society where no one goes hungry or remains blind because of lack of money or commits suicide because of harassment by capitalist corporations or is oppressed because of their "wrong" caste or religion. Am I wrong ?

Lol! Are you for real? A foreign NGO, dissenting against the government is OKAY? Not for us. Maybe you live in some alternate reality. Jamahir don't make petty excuses like some xyz guy is making money illegally from foreign countries. That's lame, even for you.

I didn't call you a supporter either. But I never saw you even mentioning their speeches or say I am yet to see you being this sharp against AIMIM as much as you being against Kapil Mishra.

Maybe, maybe not. Let the investigation conclude.

In the past have been involved in killing Dalits too, CPIM goondas were responsible for many such acts of violence. So, what is with the Dalit love the communist speak every now and then of? Jamahir you're naive, you think what they speak is who they are. Do you even know, before Hathras, a Dalit covid infected girl was raped in communist-ruled Kerala, in Ambulance by the driver, nobody even blinked. No protests, no picnics to Kerala by any Kancha llaiahs, Shehlas, or any bleeding hearts of JNU. Because it won't conform to their politics. In short, it's all about politics.

D-Raga and his party CPI is already irrelevant. They are hitchhiking on DMK or one state, like Kerala for their win.
