Warships being sent to evacuate Indians from Libya

Sometimes I wonder if our government was any slower, it would be making decisions in reverse. The orders for evacuation should have been given on the first day of instability itself. With Gaddafi ordering bombing of his own people, there is no telling whether Indians could be safe there or not.

Doesn't work that way. If the orders are given too early without assessing the situation, we'd have the situation die down before the ships get there. First they have to confirm that the citizens are actually in danger if not evacuated.
