Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he wanted to hand over to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi a dossier on India's alleged interference in its domestic affairs but could not do so as no meeting took place between them in New York.

Responding to questions at a press conference, Sharif said that he had planned to hand over the dossier to Modi directly but the meeting did not take place.

"As such, a copy of the dossier would be forwarded to the UN chief (Ban Ki-moon)," Sharif was quoted as saying by Radio Pakistan.

Pakistan has been accusing India of interfering in its domestic affairs and creating instability in Balochistan, a charge India strongly denies.

When asked about his initiative about forging better ties with India, Sharif said that Pakistan has put forward concrete proposals for improving ties with India with the hope that it would elicit a positive response.

He also said that it was in the interest of both the countries that they withdraw troops from Siachen - the world's highest battle ground.

Sharif has raised the issue of Kashmir in his address to the UN General Assembly annual session yesterday, drawing strong reaction from India, which accused Pakistan of using terror as a "legitimate instrument" of its statecraft.

India also asked Pakistan for "early vacation" of Pak occupied Kashmir (Azad Kashmir).

Good, let us see when the fax gets to the UNSC.

Who is stopping him to do so?

Pakistan could have handed over the dossier but Modi ran away to West Coast.

Even Waldorf Astoria staff refused to deliver the same on behalf of Nawaz.

Now Nawaz is planning to give it to Modi during next SAARC Summit in Pakistan.

Cannot make a sense out of what Pakistan Government is thinking and what government is doing and what government wants.

On one hand Kashmir issue is raised, then they want dialogues and then talk about presenting dossier to UN Chief.

Can someone tell them to put the house in order, do a proper strategy planning and then push the agenda. A very very confused move.

What happen to Sartaz Aziz handing over dossier to Indian counterpart during this meet. And now Nawaz says he didnt got the meet so could not handover the dossier, well when there was no meet planned, how would have this been possible? Neither he as any more meets with UN Chief planned, so probably i guess he will post the dossier.

Finally if they had so much of proof, then why Nawaz was talking about Kashmir and why not India's involvement in causing problem in Pakistan from UN podium.

Cheap and pathetic posts by Indians

Pakistan will expose India and our black deeds when the right time comes.... they are just waiting for the opportune moment since 2005 to shame us and they will give dossiers of irrefutable proof to UN, USA, UK and Modi himself :coffee:

That dossier can be given officially any time why to wait for a meeting to take place in New york only
