Walmart’s Supplier Says Chinese Factories in ‘Desperate’ State

Yes, thanks Mod

You are free to say German HSR is better, the question is not whether they are better, the question is whether we have the core technology. Vietnam does not own nor have an active capability to absorb and assimilate new technology. Even in the 60s we already have basic science and technology, might not be the best, but it was the basis where we develop our technology and manpower.YOU HAVE NONE
Not a repeated troll remark. He is presenting you with an argument, prove him wrong by some material!

.
Nonsense! Vietnam mostly imports raw materials from China and makes them to finished products. We no longer just assemble stuffs.

Here inside Vinfast car factory
An assembly line with capacity of making 250,000 automobile motors a year

CEO is white, Engineering head is white, the design is Italian, the engine is German, the autoparts are German, the production line is German. The only thing Vietnamnese is the money and land. And this is a 2 year old company. Great, now you can be like the Indians, supapowa indeed.:rofl::rofl:. You are not even reverse engineering, you basically bought the whole production line including the managers and engineering.:D.

You don't get technology by hiring Germans to do the work, you get technology by developing your own local talent base. You start from the simplest things like learning how to make automotive steel, glass, autoparts. Then you sell them to create low level mass produced cheap cars which Vietnam really needs, not a remake of the BMW pedaling on nationalism to sell to the Viet upper middle class. 1000 years of Confucian ethics, and this is what you learn? He taught you to learn how to make the foundation before making a house. This is what we call basic science and technology. Metallurgy and materials, components manufacturing, quality control engineering, designers, etc.

Check the import statistic from your Ministry and see if we buy raw materials from you or the other way round. Gosh, you guys are seriously delusional.

U should care, cos Mod will give u a warning when u fail to prove that " VN has No tech" . We can make our own car engine wt license from BMW, we have big labs in Vinfast factories ( check video clip from @Viet ).

So, stop lying "VN has no tech". Our Vinfast car r selling well to VN customers while CN HSR - a cheap copied from German HSR is in big debt now. CN factories r in "desperate" state cos most of them are in big debt like ur useless HRS.
Please, for your won sake, learn with an open mind, and see the truth for what it is. Watch the documentary on how we learn and absorb the technology, how we improve and test the innovations. There is a reason why the Germans are so willing to sell you technology, they know you can't threaten them, you will be a tech user, now a tech competitor.

Exactly what technology are you bringing on the table here? The whole freaking company is run by Whites, the facilities is basically European. Please tell me which Vietnamese company produces automotive grade steel? This is the most basic requirement. Which company makes automotive grade glass? Which company makes those autoparts. The industry is not just about ONE company, it's the supply chain, the industrial base.

As I google , I saw that CN nid big help from German expert in HSR, specially after the serious accident in 2011 due to failed sensor.

See, without help from the West, CN cant even make a proper sensor for HSR, but Cnese like u boasting so much. U guys should admit that in 2011, CN could not even make a proper HSR sensor instead of lying "VN has no tech".

The control system is made in China by Hollysys reversed from Hitachi, it's Japanese not German. Hollysys improved upon this by programming in extra fail-safe to prevent bypasses after that accident. Ultimately, we learnt our mistake and improved our design. This is what we call technology absorption. Remember there is no free food in the world, nobody will 'help' you. You pay tuition fees and learn. Vietnam should start by learning how to make steel. =)

What do you mean by proper sensor? it's actually a very simple electro magnetic sensor, there was a problem with the surge protection system which they ultimately rectified. It takes years of learning to reach where we are. We didn't reach there by buying foreign managers and engineers to make cars for us in a foreign factory. We reached there by learning through doing it ourselves, all the mistakes only strengthens us. =)

In the end, we can make the whole thing ourselves, good or bad, time will tell. You just continue to work hard to improve it.

I don't care who helps you. We have a dozen of these JVs all around China from Mitsubishi to Toyotas. My question is whether you can

1) develop the materials
2) design the engine
3) fabricate the engine

And what cars are they making? Outdated models or latest ones? CBU or CKD?

I am not even going into suspension systems and electronics yet.
The vinfast cars platforms are purchased from previous generation BMW lines. BMW makes a nice royalty+money from selling the platforms.
In a nutshell Vietnam doesn't gain new technology. The cars look nice as design and virtually all vital components are foreign made.
That's the primary reason the vinfast sell much higher than a current generation BMW. Who's going to buy an 15 year old technology car that cost more than current generation BMW?

CN open bid and want the West trasfer key HSR. But bcs HSR is stupid/useless system that will create big debt for the nation, thats why the West agree to trasfer key tech to CN. CN didnt do much R&D on HSR.

--------
The MOR set these guidelines for joint ventures to be acceptable:

  • comprehensive transfer of key technologies
  • lowest price in the world
  • use of a Chinese brand
A comprehensive transfer of technology to Chinese enterprises (especially in systems integration, AC drive and other core technologies) was necessary to allow domestic enterprises to master the core technology. While foreign partners might provide technical services and training, the Chinese companies must ultimately be able to function without the partnership.[105] Railway equipment manufacturers in China were free to choose foreign partners, but foreign firms must pre-bid and sign the technology transfer agreement with China's domestic manufacturers, so the Chinese rolling stock manufacturers could comprehensively and systematically learn advanced foreign technology.[106]

We didn't do R&D? Gosh, such simplistic mind. If only you have access to the information we have in Chinese.

Transfer of technology means giving you the head but without the tail, you have to reverse it to learn. Don't you get it genius? Nobody will help you for free. Else everyone would be like China right? We took the hard work to learn from questioning and reversing the design and absorb it. Blind copy unscientifically doesn't work. We train our workers and scientist, we look for defects and areas to improve. Do you see CRH CEO being a white guy?:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Okay, then pls tell us what key tech the foreign companies didnt transfer to u ? And why they didnt transfer when they Agreed to tranfer key tech in the bid ??

And give us the link explain why too. Otherwhile, ppl see clearly that CN didnt do much R&D .

They would sell you parts to assemble, but not explain to you how to make those parts. They sell you machines, without explaining the codes to program those machines, thereby tying you to them. You would be milked for services, engineering and training. Nothing is free and no one will help you except yourselves. Learn this basic concept and you will be China, else you are just another cow like India.

One good example was the regenarative braking system, they just sold us the component. We would forever be buying it if we didn't tried reversing it.

They would give you a control system, sell it to you. How to program and reverse it requires you to pry it open and understand it, build prototypes to test it and verify your understanding. That's why it's called reverse engineering not copying. Copying means you blindly follow sometime without understanding the technology. Reversing something, imparts knowledge and skills to your industrial base, giving you the foundation to develop and innovate. You cannot deny the fact that the only way to catch up is to reverse engineer and then innovate when there is nothing more to be learned. China is now reaching this stage, where we are the pioneers instead of the learners.

Full of lie. They gave CN everything including key tech abt HSR as they promised in the bid. U cant give us any link say that they didnt give CN key tech of HSR.

HSR is technology in 1960s, its very old and no key tech to hide now.

Different country different approach. If we follow your path of developing domestic car, we will need another ten years to have domestic cars. With cars coming out off assembly lines with poor and cheap quality. No thanks.

HSR is 1960s tech and Cnese here boasting so much. while VN can make our own Euro 5 engine after buying BMW blue print and Cnese said " VN has no tech"

Only 1960s HSR tech is the real "super tech" in the world

We just prove that "VN has no tech" is wrong, and its so hilarious while Cnese here keep boasting abt 1960s tech as if its a "super tech" that will lead CN to the "super" Heaven where Cnese sick pigs also can fly like bird tks to that "super 1960s tech"
