Albeit, he may have made some errors, but Musharaf was the best thing that happened to Pakistan since Ayub Khan.

He spent earlier years in defending Pakistan, later in life his sole aim was to protect and prosper Pakistan. !!

Musharraf committed grave crimes by suspending Constitution of Pakistan Twice [2].

Musharraf Imposed Emergency Twice [2]

And the civilians did not do anything to implement the very same constitution for the better of the citizen and the nation, or let us say they made sure they did not implement the articles related to the rights of the citizens.

I wish someone one with legal background gather all the evidences which is freely available in the form of economy statistics and other sources and see can easily judge what could be have been done and what was not done and file a law suit against all the civilian parliamentarians and politicians who had offices and are having offices for failing to fulfill the articles relating to the rights of the citizens as per the very same constitution they are talking about.

But wait, the word citizen and nation does not appear anywhere in the constitution no matter how diligently you try to search for it

There was No National consensus on joining WOT/US, musharraf jumped in throwing Pakistan is a never ending disaster where almost 7000 soldiers and 40,000 civilians died Just because of musharraf's worst decision to join US. Technically mushrraf has his hands red with Pakistanis blood.
[People don't give us crap that US would have bombed us to stone age it don't suite your mouths being a nuclear armed nation becoming a puss.y, Iran and N. Koreans are Alive 61 years and 33 Years]

As if the civilian politicians do every thing with national consensus. They do what is best for their personal interests and the interests of the other politicians to keep sharing the chairs turn by turn. How many many people died due to the great minister of Interior? does he know how to manage his bathroom let alone a ministry.

Martial Law is Unconstitutional.

Civilian rule not fulfilling the rights of the citizens as per the constitution is not unconstitutional?

Musharraf abused Constitution of Pakistan later took over President of Pakistan Office being in uniform [self appointed President again unconstitutional]

The civilian politicians and ministers again and again abuse the constitution of Pakistan and have arrangements to get power turn by turn. Is this not abuse of the constitution? Massive vote rigging and every politician is now silent as the common man has been programmed to worry about electricity and water and how to earn a some money to be alive whether that be by making his underage children work or beg or do all sorts of menial work to help in lessening the financial burden of every house, is this not abuse of the constitution?

Traitor or Not musharraf deserves to be behind the bars for the next 15 Years atleast.

Same should be applied to all the civilian politicians without any leniency.

.
Subversion of constitution had been occurred but Musharraf didn't impose martial law ...........

I may not like CJ of Pakistan yet throwing in and putting a serving CJ under house attest is another major crime.

Pakistani constitution has not been revealed by Allah that it could not be suspended ... It is written by man & man can do the same for the need of time as Musharraf did ........

Since when did you started deciding Who Allah will Forgive & Who Allah will Not ...

Got Get a Life ..

IF Musharraf is a Traitor for actually doing something for this country .. then i am a Traitor as well.

who cares if he was a traitor or not? He is responsible for deaths of tens of thousands of muslim men , women and childern in both Afghanistan and Pakistan........he did that for non-muslim americans.......he killed students of lal masjid in cold blood....not only him but also all the faujis whose hands are dirty with blood of innocents, they wont rest in peace......they are going straight to jahanum.

Yeh The Student they were ... Come out of your delusions ... no one is listing to you .. the sooner you come of it the better it will be for you .

look Musharraf has actually put the government in trouble by coming back. now they have to try him if they don't the bugttis and the lal masjid boys will start hitting the government like they did with ANP government!

so the government willingly or unwillingly has to start cases and throw the ball in the judiciary's court. judiciary will go slow until CJ retires and then they will decide what to do with him.

everyone is stuck and willingly or unwillingly has to try Musharraf. the only escape route is that he comes and apologises to the nation.

.
He did what he thought was good for Pakistan. But having a commando general's brain, he failed to predict the consequences of his actions. I wouldn't term this as being a 'traitor', but a feather-brain! Generals should stick to military affairs and not meddle in politics.

I was in derabughti just before the opperation started ... he was an evil man .. Pakistan have to be strong like india when it comes to reballion otherwise every city will find an excuse ..no one even mentions that akarbar bugti fired 500 rockets at PPL in sue and blow up couple of gas pipelines

The US would have reduced Pakistan's military capability to be worse than Zimbabwe's. It would't take them more than a week at the most.

Would US do that to Pakistan sometimes in the Future in support of india and greater WOT. That's not a good news.

The US is the US; it thinks ten steps ahead.

In the same way that it views India as a possible useful thorn in China's side, so Pakistan may serve that purpose if India gets too uppity.

Mistakes you say ae! those were deliberate decisions, martial law is not a mistake it is always a pre-planned move, suspending Constitution of Pakistan twice is not a mistake over the top fiddling with it, it is deliberate act, imposing emergency is not a mistake it a deliberate planned move.

I don't doubt he served Army well, but he had no right to do all that we discussed above No damn right!

And yes he ran away from Pakistan because of the fear of impeachment, righteous men don't run away from impeachment, 40,000 civilians and 7000 soldiers died and mr. musharraf was enjoying in london.

So yeah serving country is not imposing martial law removing people from offices, imposing emergencies, imposing war upon own country and so on.

If bunch of mushy lovers want him spared with an NRO-II then spare all of those Pakistanis in Jail as they too have the right to be released and forgiven No? If you are not going to punish then there will be no learning from the past and then people would kept committing such heinous crimes.

--he imposed emergency law - why? simple question

-- as for your last point, well some of you people have this wonderful habit of eulogizing traitors and vilifying those who actually gave a damn for the country and did indeed serve it

im not agreeing with you (at all), so lets just agree to disagree

stay on the topic, righteous historian!
dont start a comparison of weapons with mass destruction , to prove yourself right?

So need of the hour is hang or throw your buddy in the Jail. [counter reply just to zip your mouths]
