Visa rules for Indians to Turkey

Hi, so I was watching this travel video since some family members are going on a tourist trip to Turkey.

It seems that even though India and Turkey have good relations, India does not give turks a visa on arrival or evisa , which some 160 odd countries get from India.
Similarly Indians who have a USA or schengen visa get a evisa while others have to apply for a sticker type visa.
For comparison turkey gives evisa facility to Pakistanis.

What is the reason for this anamoly between India and Turkey.?

Why did India exclude Turkey from the list ? Its not about reciprocacity as many other countries don't give us a similar facility.

indians are still a risk for economic migration. hence the turkish policy
it will be interesting how pakistanis use/abuse turkish e-visa

Man take a break...US, Canada are rich countries so people immigrate...Turkey is not a destination to be immigrate nor Turkey want any one in their country too

Don't drag the subject elsewhere. We are having Indian tourists, too. Not too much at the moment but they start to explore. Only last year 3 Indian marriage of known rich families were in lux hotels. They booked the whole hotel, lol. So once tourism gets more attention between two, travel conditions will also be faciliated.

However, tight relations between Pakistan and Turkey is hardening situation for them at state level .

I dont think relation btw Turkey and Pakistan is a factor for Indians visiting Turkey and vice versa. I had visited Istanbul and it was one of the most beautiful and liberal Muslim nations on the planet.. An average Indian or any citizen for the matter knows anything about diplomatic stuff or issues.. If they want to go to Turkey, they will go..

The reason there might be no e visa is simply there is no reciprocal agreement... And that's not something to read too much into the matter....
