Viral video: Dutch MP refuses to shake Israeli prime minister's hand

.
I wonder how the members of this forum would react if a Western leader refuses publicly to shake hands of a leader from the Islamic world - say Saudi Arabia

I would become his biggest fan right away. :)

Exactly ... why would a dutch MP has any issue with Israeli?
Tunahan Kuzu (born June 5, 1981) is a Dutch politician. He is Turkish.

Kuzu grew up in Maassluis and studied public administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He worked as a health care advisor for PricewaterhouseCoopers, and was also a member of the municipal council of Rotterdam from 2008 to 2012.

He is a former member of the Labor Party (PvdA). Since September 20, 2012, he has been an MP.

On November 13, 2014 Kuzu was expelled from the PvDA together with colleague Öztürk, after they were found not to be willing to express their confidence in the preparation of the own party in the integration debate and in the integration policy of their PvdA Minister Lodewijk Asscher.

Kuzu has chosen to stay with Öztürk in the House as a member of the group Kuzu / Öztürk . In his statement Kuzu issued on november 18, 2014 that the Labour Party is like "an inverted car wash, where you go in clean and smeared come out if you do not, what does the PvdA top echelon want of you. " Kuzu further indicated that his new movement's commitment is to "tolerance, tolerance, acceptance and connection and to shift to the right, roughening and hardening." Since November 18, 2014 Kuzu is the leader of the group Kuzu / Öztürk, associated with the political movement "Think"

On the Israeli-Palestinian conflict it is in the Think manifesto that Europe should strengthen the international position of Palestine and that the Netherlands should recognize Palestine, as this would work better than 10,000 interreligious dialogues.

So, with the conservative liberals you have Wilders. With the centre-left social democrats you have these two. ;-)

I wonder how the members of this forum would react if a Western leader refuses publicly to shake hands of a leader from the Islamic world - say Saudi Arabia or Sudan, in protest against the bombing in Yemen, or the genocide in Darfur? Pretty sure there will be howls of 'Islamophobia'. Outrage seems pretty much a one-way street for the ummah.
This is just a lowly MP. Not a party leader, not the leader of an administration/government.

In Saheeh al-Bukhaari it is narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “When the Jews greet you, they say, ‘as-saam ‘alaykum (death be upon you),’ so say, ‘And also upon you.’” If he holds his hand out to you, then reach out and shake his hand, otherwise do not initiate it.” End quote.

Read the narration again, “When the Jews greet you, they say, ‘as-saam ‘alaykum (death be upon you),’ so say, ‘And also upon you.’” and with context.

The narration was from when the Jews, in Medinah, would say, as in verbally speak/greet, towards the Muslims 'as-saam 'alaykum, not Aslam ul Alaikum.

The Sunnah indicates that we should respond to them when they greet us,
