Correction, they are not the one's fighting Indian troops, its people sent over from Pakistan who fight.
Its the local civilians who help the govt by givingt tips, etc.

The ppl sent over from Pakistan are martyred by the Indian troops cuz that's what I hear on the news. Now I'm wondering If ppl from Pakistan don't make it into held Kashmir, then who is behind the attacks. Do u think that after the Indian troops commit crimes against the ppl in Kashmir (rape, torture etc), they r not gonna fight back. Thousands of Indian troops are deployed & still u want me to believe that ppl from Pakistan r able to enter Kashmir and cause trouble. If that's the case then the Indian troops should be ashamed of themselves.

Bomb kills 1, wounds 8 in India's Assam
GUWAHATI, India, Jan 20 (Reuters) - A man was killed and eight people wounded when a bomb on a motorcycle exploded in a crowded market in India's troubled northeastern state of Assam on Saturday, police said.

They said suspected rebels belonging to the separatist United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) were behind the explosion in Tinsukia town, about 600 km (370 miles) east of the state's main city, Guwahati.

"The bomb was kept on a motorbike on the roadside," a police officer told Reuters by telephone from Tinsukia.

Violence has flared in oil- and timber-rich Assam in recent months after talks between representatives of the rebel group and the Indian government failed to make headway.

Two people were killed and 10 others wounded on Friday in a bomb blast at a crowded bus station in Guwahati and earlier this month, 72 labourers, who were not from the state, were killed by suspected ULFA militants, prompting a visit to the region by the prime minister.

The ULFA insurgency has killed more than 20,000 people since it began in 1979. The rebels want Assam's independence from India.

True though not martyred, simly killed.

Who says they dont make it into Kashmir, the fence, manning, electronic surveillance have helped a LOT!, but it still does not insulate Kashmir, some terorrists are able to cross over.

Do u think that after the Indian troops commit crimes against the ppl in Kashmir (rape, torture etc), they r not gonna fight back.
The situation is not liek you make it sound. There are odd cases of torture, etc. Its not widespread at all, and the people responsible have gotten court martialled. Till the time we used to get PTV here, i saw the ridiculous propaganda shown by them. They actually stated no truth in half their news bulletins about India.

Thousands of Indian troops are deployed & still u want me to believe that ppl from Pakistan r able to enter Kashmir and cause trouble. If that's the case then the Indian troops should be ashamed of themselves.
Thousands of troops are deplyed because of the terrorists. Yes terrorists are still able to enter because they get help from the PA, and the terrain there is such that you cannot insulate the border. The Indian troops are proud of themselves as is their country for them. For they fight to protect India.

Probably that is why EU study report said that Kashmir is better off with India.

you give me single independent source that show,s mujahidin make mass murder of civilians, no one in kashmir believe in IA, illegal arrest, torture, rape, destroying of civilian propities, every day job of IA .huryyat has full kashmiri public support, that why even indian govt. consider them as real reprisentative of kashmir

India allows them to travel them to Pakistan also.
If India's aim to suppress, they should have already dealt with hurriyat by now.
Isnt that contrdictory?

Bull the huriyat people let to visit Pakistan recently years back they were not allowed to and the recent soft stance is also understandble as If India dosnt allow them it will damage her image and give boost to Huriyat's.

Just recenly one of the Huriyat leaders was not allowed to go for Haj by the Indian Government.

Two people were injured in an overnight grenade explosion in Assam, the latest in a string of bombings and shootouts blamed on the outlawed United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA), officials said on Tuesday.

A police spokesperson said militants riding a motorcycle late on Monday lobbed a grenade outside a petrol pump on a highway near Changsari, about 35 kms west of Guwahati.

"Two people waiting near the edge of the petrol pump were injured in the attack," a police official said. They were immediately admitted to the hospital.

Monday night's attack was the seventh explosion in the last one week in which nine people were killed and 42 injured.

The bombings were preceded by a string of raids from Jan 5 to Jan 8 in eastern Assam with separatist guerrillas killing 73 people, 61 of them being poor Hindi-speaking migrant workers.

Authorities have blamed the ULFA for the attacks. But the ULFA has denied its involvement in the recent violence. The attacks followed threats by the ULFA asking the migrant workers, most of them from Bihar, to quit Assam on the ground that they were taking away local jobs.

"The modus operandi of all the attacks point towards the ULFA," said Khagen Sharma, Assam's police intelligence chief.

Meanwhile, Australia, Britain and the US have issued advisories asking its nationals to review travel plans to Assam in the wake of the recent violence.

"This warden message is issued to alert US citizens travelling to and residing in northeastern India, and especially Assam, of the serious security threat due to a series of recent killings and bomb attacks," said an alert posted on the website of the US Consulate General Calcutta (Kolkata).

Similar alerts have also been issued by Australia and Britain.

If thats so then why are they not allowing the huriyat leader to go abroad?
