The Vietnamese Transport Ministry is to submit its plans for high-speed rail routes to government in the next financial year. Routes between Hanoi and Vinh city, and Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang city are intended to be operational by 2030 when the North-South expressway is expected to be operating at maximum capacity.

If it ever happens, i believe 90 % the contract will go to China. We will not be stupid enough to accept Japanese: huge initial investment and huge maintenance cost: extremely expensive spare parts, no experience in high speed train for hot and humid area.and dozens other factors.

Rich coutries like the US can bear the extra cost and do not select Chinese for political reason, but not Vietnam.

The relatively high speed line Lao Cai- Hanoi - Haiphong will go Chinese. This project will be no different.

No thanks,we do not want VN beggars contracts!

Ask your dad US or Jap to help you!
Don’t say Jap, have some respect to the people of Japan!

I am pretty sure we will build the HSR by ourselves in 2 years. Cheaper and better. We make bphone, making HSR is a bit more challenging but doable.

We can have joint venture with Vietnam. There will be definitely have a factory to make spares or parts for Vietnam HSR.

But I am sure Vietnam will not put all egg in one basket. Some contract will go to China and others to Japan or Germany.

We are welcome to help Vietnam in upgrading your transport.

No, It is wrong to build high speed rail In VN. When we just talk about business, business is business, but VN will drag much politics into business when refering to China. It will be a disaster for our brand.
When we talk about strategy, we are building railway From China to Thailand, and pass Laos. VN is not on our path and cannot bring much to us.
So, let Jap do this job,we never do this.

Your new king should learn from Mao, keep supporting VN so that VN can support CN against US bully.

Learn why Mao support VN , Dud.

Thanks. You are the few ones that promote cooperation. I hope there are more Chinese like you then the future is bright for VN/CN. But I am afraid you belong to minority. The chance we get a piece of technology from China is zero.

I rather hope on our people in China to capture as much as they can, so we can reproduce the HSR in Vietnam.

That is something I want to say. Unlike North Korea, our short time friendship after WW2 had been already over since 1970s, our high rank officials today all were young when the war between us happened, it is obvious no Chinese leaders have good feelings about VN.

You poor country support us? USA bully us? Lol, we are bullying you guys right now, we do not need the traitors who hit our back many times in history to side with us, no Chinese trust your country, you should side with USA. I really wish you guys fight with us, you guys have too many islands in SCS now.

After all, 1+0.02=1.02. Adding the tiny monkey land's GDP which worth less than 2% of ours will "greatly" help us counter the US...
Agent Orange poisoned monkeys are sooooo funny!:omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:

Oh...Damn! Monkeys are sooooo delusional...
A 2,000 km HSR costs almost 70 billion USD, even with domestic technology! It will cost more than 100 billion if built by foreigners (which is 100% the case for a country can not produce even a steam locomotive)... Just wondering How monkeys pay such huge amount of money which equals to 40 years of their military expenditures....
