Vietnam inaugurates final section of expressway linking to China

mixed pictures. while bilateral tourism collapses, trade blossoms.

A reflection of geostrategic dualism, my friend.

I say let it continue. May Vietnam tap into the massive Chinese market.

Squeeze it for all its worth. ;)

Yoish.

depending on the city. asking average price for such a villa or townhouse in hanoi is about 4,000-6,000 USD per square metres. saigon has similar price structure.

Very expensive, really? Can you show some pictures of the up scale homes / condos in Hanoi?

Foreign buyers such as from Japan, South Korea, and Singapore love to buy here: Masteri (Saigon). the site will have a metro line and a mall. not to mention: parks, lakes, swimming pools, a sports centre, and a playground.

for rental, such as Vinhomes (Hanoi):
600 USD (55m2)-1,400 USD (155m2) per month.

LOL, quit lying my fiend. I've been to Vietnam. The majority of the people do not live in these places. Seriously with $1700 USD per capita, how can you?
have I ever said the majority? no, just the rich. and there are poor people, but middle income and rich people in Vietnam as well.

Vietnam should have some well off people who can afford those houses but when they're asking ($4,000-6,000/sq m) x 500 sq m = $2 - 3 million per unit in Vietnam is not cheap at all

When I was there, I looked at some new condo development going for at that time $140,000 USD. My relatives asked me to buy it I said no as I do not have relatives in Vietnam to manage the property. I also do not trust VCP. Many Chinese Vietnamese properties were confiscated in the 70s. Who is to say it won't happen again.

everything can happen with everyday passing by. in china, cultural revolution or social unrests can repeat. or you have a bad mood and invade Vietnam. luckily our property market does not rely on chinese buyers.

by the way, after the vietnam war half of our houses was confiscated because we were capitalistic pig. it was given to a war veteran family. so not only chinese vietnamese were the loser, but all southern vietnamese. more or less.

vietnam property market is definitely in a bubble. wait for a year or two it will correct and you can buy them cheaper.

given the rising incomes and prosperity, I dont´t think so. do you know where a bubble is?
not the china overpriced housing market, but stocks. take Shanghai stock exchange. that is a very BIG bubble.

this pic is outdated. already. today I just look at the index. it has reached 4,888. do you know the P/E ratio of the listed companies? forget facebook and google.
