The Van Don - Mong Cai expressway, around 80 km, the last section of the Hanoi - Haiphong - Ha Long - Van Don - Mong Cai expressway, with total length of roughly 280 km, is finally completed after two years of construction. It makes the trip from Hanoi to Mong Cai, which border Dongxing town of Quangxi province, China, to take around 3 - 3.5 hours.

From 0:35 - 0:46 we can see Dongxing town on the other side of the border

The road was built using Vietnamese money (both private and state), so no Japanese and Korean contractors involved, thankfully. The project has been built on time (a little bit ahead of schedule) and with good quality, as proven by the quality of previous sections.

2 lane highway
low speed limit
Not good
Better 3 or 4 lane and higher speed limit
