i never say novator cannot be guide by su-30MK but it radar simply cannot guide it max range before being detected by AWACS. Once detected by AWACS, it can simply deploy counter measure like ordering fighter to intercept the missile or the enemies fighter itself.

Lastly, this missile simply is not in service yet. And I doubt even exist, vietnam will not simply get it earlier than india or russia which will be many years away.

As a small boat at fish boat size, Molniya could hide better.
If your missile quality not so good, you shoot the missile overhead of Molniya crew.

It is calculated that minimum 24 missiles arriving at the same time are needed to overwhelm and sink a US Arleigh Burke class.
For China 052D, more missile are needed..
16 missiles are not enough..

maybe that's why it has 16 Switchblades, fire in slavos of 2 or 4 pretty sure one or more will get through
