Video: Indian Army ties stone pelter in front of vehicle, warns other stone pelters

Thank you.

Your comment does remove part of the hurt.

Incidentally, the member concerned is one of the most respected ex-servicemen on the Indian side. The remark was all the more devastating coming from such a person.

May be the respect one held was of the uniform yet once it is hanged forever, that reveals the real person and IMO, both are to be treated in different manners whereby the services for the country are respected but the person goes down to such level, cannot be regarded with same protocol. You have a tag here Sir and there is
a reason too for the same that this Forum wouldn't tolerate as such, no matter coming from whom.

I am deeply touched, and truly grateful for your remarks.

Thank you very much.

TBH, this is a rather subdued way of retaliating.

Maybe this should become the norm. During stone peltings just grab one of them and tie em up on a vehicle; suddenly, the stone pelters have stopped.

No one gets hurt.

But in UK you get equal rights. Certainly this part Kashmir is no UK !

Equal rights?
That's funny, certainly in "this part of kashmir", at least you get to vote.

. . . . .
can i also name the unit which respinded with similar attacks on indian post????
So its confirmed. It actually happened.

To extract 9 ITBP and J&K Police personnel who were trapped by a mob of 900 strong stone pelters on the 9th of April in Budgam. The personnel were there guarding a polling booth when the mob attacked. Not just stones but heavy baseball sized river boulders.

They called in the Army Station Commander, sending out an SOS message. The Commander immediately sent in a QRT. On jeep one bus.

The QRT of 17 personnel soon discovered that they too were badly outnumbered.

Quick presence of mind of the QRT commander. They caught a stone pelter. Tied him on the front of the jeep. And drove past the mob of 900 to extract the trapped guys inside.

Assam Regiment. Victor force unit of the 35RR. Kickass Major (who will not be named) leading the bunch.
it looks like indian soldiers are treated like foreign occupiers.

. . . . .
Already answered that, and you are still not getting my inference..
Lol. Shows that phony system won't work

A very good point, but I have a problem. I gave so many negative points to Indian members that they started calling me a traitor. So I gave up negative ratings, for Indian or for Pakistani members.
Lol, sire,
I a also get to hear that a lot. The thing about hyper nationalist is that, if you don't fall under their criteria, you're labelled as traitor. In fact these people are the ones who are causing much pain to motherland on wither side of border. My best wished with you always

. .
You're not doing any favor just by giving them right

Yet, they are the one who have to get pellet bullets

The situation will go south further. It fits very well with the overall perspective.

In 1991-95, IA became brutal, the costs of violence were manifold for the ordinary people. Now also, slowly the violence will be upgraded. The costs will be exacting. That is how you kill an insurgent movement.

Does not matter to Indian perspective. India has the means, the resources and the will, to carry on for centuries this way. The only one who continues to suffer is Kashmiri.

Hard fact. Something I had written about BEFORE even the killing of the insurgent Burhan Wani.
