Victory for PTi In Azad Kashmir Local bodies Elections

hol up, ye PPP kis khushi me AJK me itni popular he? they are not even in federal govt since last 9 years. Kahin AJK me bhi to bhutto zinda to nhi?
they have always been there.... bit of zinda bhutto and bit of feudal connections!

.
Mil Establishment is now supporting PPP P over PMLN, and as per reports Bilawal is the new poster boy of Mil-Estab, on orders from US.

AJK PM has talked about big Dhandli in the current local bodies poll.
Bilawal was always the cheesa bacha of Milstablishment. Why do you think they still control Karachi?

.
Unfortunately in the rural parts of AJK, it's so backwards, the candidates know the votes are a given. Candidates also pay for votes, ie they'll strike deals with heads of families of local influencers who'll them campaign on their behalf and trash talk the opposition. This is not such an issue in cities and towns, but in rural AJK it's still very real unfortuntely. Similarly open rigging is taken for granted.
Seems we have a long way to go. One can only hope there exists country called Pakistan by the time we come to our senses.

What about what @Ghazwa-e-Hind is saying below? I would assume education has a direct correlation with the voting patterns.

AJK has literacy rate of 80%, highest in Pakistan.

Literacy rate is high, economic opportunity is not existent. Rich men have opinions, poor men have votes.

Also education alone doesn't change hick mentality - you need world experience. If your entire world is a few villages and a local town, everything beyond that is foreign to you - you have a very insular way of thinking.

PPP has done quiet well.
PTI will need to organise it's electoral machine if it's going to translate it's support into actual seats.
I hope they are working on those issues, rather then just Jalsa after Jalsa.

PPP is dead party.

In Karachi jalsa of bilawal, I distinctly remember, there were 200-300 people in a city of 25 million.

The political engineering is still at play by establishment.

The federal reserves are drained.. Rome is burning, Nero is fiddling..

PTI government left 22 billion in the treasury. Now thanks to establishment, we barely have money to run day to day affairs

.
Hope the 2nd tier leadership in PTI are doing their homework.

There is absolute need of 2/3 majority in the next General Elections. The establishment will do their best to deny PTI that opportunity.

PTI Sindh needs to be reorganized to get make a dent in PPP’s stronghold. Same for Balochistan.

I can see what you are saying, and I believe you. But let's not forget politics is about getting the votes and getting those seats, it's a skill.

If they are still able to get those seats, that means they understand the local political culture and how to translate that into votes. If you refuse to acknowledge that then you're going to be in for a massive shock at the next general elections.

People come to the jalsa after jalsa, but PTI has to learn how to translate that support into the ballot box, it really is that simple.

Bot™ accounts on social media, especially twitter are building pro-PPP narrative.

They want to make next government of PPP in Pakistan, and delay the elections as long as possible

Where there is smoke, there is fire.

Elections rigging will continue, things haven't changed unfortunately.

Regime change operation Phase 2 has started. Work underway to impose PPP government on the orders of west.

Exhibit A:

.
It's local personalities. Like my family vote for PPP because the local PPP candidate is of the Jatt caste and a muhajir.
Thankfully this practice is dying down in CP ( definitely exists but not as much as it used to back in the day) Abrar from PTI was playing clan politics in rural naronwal but he still lost, many other examples nowadays, I think overtime with more awareness and democracy we'll get out of it wholesale

FYI I am a Jutt too and I think it's better to call ourselves clan than caste as it represents our society better

BTW Y'all originally from Jammu?

Yeah, currently in and around Mirpur, originally from across the LOC in Rajouri district.

Our roots are Punjabi, but our ancestors migrated about 10 generations ago.

.
Final result; PTI has the government in AJK.

دل کے خوش رکھنے کو غالب یہ خیال اچھا ہے
