1. Caste exists and it's a mode of economic stratification within society.
2. The discrimination and social stigma exists independent of economic status as established by using caste names as slurs, lower castes changing their names etc.

Caste in Pak (specifically Panjab) are not a hurdle to economic prosperity.
Caste in Pak/Panjab dont define the life of a citizen economically or socially. I have seen well off jatts giving their daughters to nayes, I have a friend who is the nephew of Shah mahmood qureshi and father is a Khattar (not to be confused with khatars of from Attock.
Caste system of panjab is nothing like your north india.

In Pak we dont have fukin ashraf or ajmal type fking drama either.. first time i heard of it was from your hindu homies.

Indian government do have that in undivided Punjab and Jammu&Kashmir too. Punjabi and other regions's Mirasis come under SCs. It's simply an undocumented problem in Muslims (North India Muslims too deny its existence, fwiw I denied too for sometime until I saw some solid data+documentation) going back to pre-partition days when Muslim league declared "no caste in Islam, hence no caste in Muslims" and actively campaigned against telling caste in last censuses.
