this i know about .....what i wanted to know the sources for ranges of elta AESA at what RCSThe timeline for this variant has been set at 2017, two years from now. The AESA radar will be supplied by Israel’s ELTA Systems, a subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). ELTA had earlier supplied its AEW&C (Airborne Early Warning & Control) system for IAF’s IL-76 based Intelligence and surveillance aircraft, designated by IAF as AWACS (Airborne Warning & Control Systems) aircraft.
Rest of the informations are read on some blog and it is very difficult to find the references now.
This will help:

what MMR has to to do with Gripens rader ??...............here we are talking of MMR and AESA ....AESA radar will consumes more power compared to MMR.Yes but that is a big advantage. Current MMR of tejas has a bigger Radar which consumes more energy upto 10 KVA compared to old Gripen but gives higher range which is an advantage.
Having bigger rader which will detect at 400 km like sukhoi will be bigger heavier will consume more power which will not be available in tejas ..............elta MMR has range of 150 km for 5m2 ,,,,,uttam AESA 100 km for 2m2 is highly respectable.....
yes it will be better if has more range but 400 km is impossible
