Both the language are descendent of same mother languages (Sanskrit and Persian), both were born around the same region (present day Indian state of Uttar Pradesh) also around the same time period. So it's natural several words of both these languages get interchanged between them every time. No big deal.

We understand each other because we in PK watch lot of Indian TV, therefore we have learned it and it's good set of skill, but we shall keep the original language at least in books and use in national media.

Regarding Persian is another sad history, In short, British killed it, which wasn't necessary in order to learn English and some how Urdu was selected as national language at the time of Pakistan's birth, I don't know why.
If it's upto me, i will choose Persian and /or Arabic over Urdu any given day.
Arabic has nothing to do with Pak, it is very unnatural

Farsi is another topic and can be debated

I have studied tons of Urdu books and news papers while growing up, so i feel more strongly rather any one else and than there was a time i wanted to buy Urdu Qaida for toddlers, eventually ending up hand writing Urdu words next to Hindi words and giving explanations for it.

I can... sorry i changed the construction of sentence in midcousrse. thanks for pointing. I'll fix it.
My Father had really salees kind of Urdu as he use to read a lot of Urdu novels and other History books. I use to ask him the meaning of all hard words I never knew and he knew most of them. So it really bothers me when people mix these two.

Pakistans natural language should have been our Pashtun for all you Pakistanis. Because you wouldn’t now be having this cRap talk on Hindi and india what ever

Hindustani language got split into Hindi and Urdu due to political/religious issues. Colloquially, they are the same for all practical purposes.

I can't disagree with the proposal... we separated based on two nation theory than why keeping commonality at national level. Let's just change to any thing, which is not understood in India... i propose Russian or German.

lol c'mon ... 😂

I see hardly any influence of Hindi on Urdu, being spoken by ordinary people in Pakistan.

How about language spoken in Tanganyika, whatever it is?

Last 20 years fabric of nationhood and Pakistaniat has been unstiched into provincialism and ethno-political interests .
One nation barely exist, so urdu which is a language that joins all Pakistanies has been put on the side. There has been efforts from IK and PTI for one educational system which are good and will help in bringing people together slowly.
There are too many channels and entertainment industry focus on silly topics to get ratings dont care much on well spoken Urdu.
We used to say
تعلق ہے"، اب لکھا اور پڑہا جاتا ہے، "جڑا ہوا ہے"۔"
"مدعا کا استعمال عام ہے، لیکن اس کو "مدا
پڑہا جاتا ہے۔

Everyone wants to use some english words but their vocab fails after few words which sounds very silly.
Pakistan is generally an aimless, mindless, and haphazard nation.

honestly I feel opposite is happening, ethno parties have died out,

After a long time theirs a national leader with no significant backing from central Punjab (the core heartland of Punjab) even PPP in its heyday had more presence in CP
if anything this is a Pashtun party but even that is not totally true if you look through it
