USA To Buy 8 F-35A Lightning II made for Turkey

Turkey is working with the US in the background.

Turkey procured S-400 on the advise of the US.

US wanted to test the effectiveness of S-400 as China has them.

Turkey is sharing S-400 data with the US.

Turkey just confirmed the S-400 data with regards to F-16s. This is useful for to assess Chinese S-400 vs Taiwan's F-16s.

Taiwan is now upgrading their Airforce based on this data and findings.

Pure speculation (I dont think Turkey trust US), on the other hand it is not unlikely.

When Israeli F-35 operate over Syrian airspace, they do so with precautions and most likely subject regional defenses to jamming/spoofing attacks along the flight path.

S-400 system will produce a significant footprint in the sensors of F-35, and pilot will do something about it.

Having intimate access to both systems is a different matter altogether however.

One cannot glean sensitive information about F-35 from a distance just like that.

S-400 system cannot even notice one unless it is operating really close (<30 KM). It can be subjected to jamming/spoofing attacks on top.

You think Turkey can or would? At least Russian air defence is a threat for Turkish F-35, too. If not on Russian soil, than abroad, where the systems are deployed.

It is a Russian system ... it doesn't matter if Turkey would or would not. Ultimately, Russia has control of the source code and the accompanying systems, including all the data collection sensors and backdoors. Do you think the US would just kick Turkey out of F35 program for no reason when it can make tens of billions selling them?

Yes, the USA would, for geostrategic reasons and because of an anti-Turkish lobby ... what led to the embargoes in 1974? Even though we were legitimized to do everything according to the contract and the legal situation? Why was AZ sanctioned together with Armenia even though Armenia officially broke international law in Qara?

It encourages turkey to push and promote its own productions and developments - I wouldn't call it bad ... Egypt will go bankrupt again, as in the past, the platforms will become obsolete and the debt mountain will increase ... Egypt is now more indebted than all the years before combined ... even if the emirates and saudis finance you, it does not mean that you are independent of them ... you now have several masters ...

Again off-topic ,why u are talking about Egypt being independent or not ? they are getting military platforms anyway !and Egypt debt is a way less than Turkish one
