Iran having already established a very strong missile industry. Already has capability of manufacturing air defense systems. However since they only have access to S-200 as of now it will take a while before they even manufacture something on the same level as say S-300PMU however, I am pretty sure Russia is supplying Iran with scientists behind the scenes like they did with the nuclear program. Russia has a lot invested in Iran and Putin's government in general want them glory days of the soviet union back.

the USA is even a bigger joke than Iran. With people(actually lunatics) like Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman -who believes Jesus has told her to go for the US presidency and wants to pray the gays away (while Hillary Clinton declares gay rights as human rights) and she still believes in the old B.S from pre-Soviet era- no country on the planet can be a match to the US when it comes to being a laughing stock of the world. Obama strategy is not to start another war. US just withdrew from Iraq and winding down in A’stans. Do you think people in US wants to support another war against a country much larger and better armed ? Obama main focus is to win the coming election.
Obama strategy is just to create tension and sanction Iran. Not to start a war.

If US wants war they would just send 1 aircraft carrier and provoke Iran.
But they send 4 aircraft carriers. This large show of force is to intimidate and strick fear into Iran so war would not happen.
