US Welcomes China’s RIMPAC Spying

Is admiral basically said that if some chip from other nation go near California's water body and do spying, while in international water, it's right under international law to do so? Do you see how US people have open mind and competitive mind set?

Vow, its going to be fun for fan boys.

US thought they could be friends with us, but we embarrassed them in their own Naval exercise. We showed what we really think of these exercises.

I already mentioned this before. The Admiral thinks the same as I do.:-)

China has complained about U.S. warships in China's EEZ. Since we let Chinese military ships in our EEZ, then China won't complain about U.S. ships in EEZ anymore and would stop complaining.

Now it's real fun. I will remember this. Is this extend to Russia as well?

@somsak ,

In the military etiquette, nations may have competitive culture, but professionalism is always emphasized. I personally had served in the JMSDF , the culture of military professionalism and etiquette was always stressed. Towards our American partners, to South Koreans, to Chinese, to Taiwanese, to Filipinos, to Russians etc. When I served in the JS Chokai years ago, we interacted with Russian ships near our territorial waters, as well as met them face to face in international waters. Always were professional with us.

The culture of professionalism and honor is imbedded amongst all military personnel. This transcends national identity.

Course it does. Sometimes we try to help their submarines in distress when in our EEZ.

Sir,

I remember during many a time when USN, ROKN, and our ship the JS Chokai interacted near the waters of Oki. As our ship passed the ROKN ship, i remember seeing our Korean counterparts salute us , and we returned the favor.

Professionalism is very high between our partners. Korean sailors, i will say, are very respectful. I have nothing but positive experiences with them.

It does extend.

Tho American military personnel interdict Russian military presence , they do so with utmost respect and professionalism. Even towards pirate(s) in the Somali Coast.

So if Russian and Chinese military partake in military exercises in the Pacific, the United States Navy will engage their presence with utmost respect.

We embarrassed the US in their own exercise by not giving the damn about 'trust building' exercises LOL

Seriously, this is humiliating for the US that we sent a spy ship to their beloved exercise.

Trust me, they are not threatened. Hawaii is home to the United States Pacific Command. The shear fire power that is stationed around the region is enough to scare even great naval powers.

You're talking about an area that has within its vicinity, 4-5 Carrier Battle Groups within moments' notice.
