Trade deficit is widening with Imports increasing every year & Exports negative. Remittances are going down. Deportations & Gulf returnees are increasing. Your soldiers & civilian deaths due to tensions at borders & with in country are increasing. This drains the Gov.t coffer by means of arms purchase, deployment costs, property damage costs, business losses due to curfews, treatment costs of the injured & compensations to martyrs family. Your debts are increasing. US has cut the aid money. CPEC is in the limbo with security threats & not gaining momentum. You need FDI gravely in your country. Your tourism needs to kick off. You need 7-8% growth to employ most of the existing population, leave alone the returning people. You need a safe atmosphere & investor confidence for this to happen

India's forex reserves is 382 Billion dollars & Pakistan's is around 21 Billion (also forged with loans) . You don't have money to sustain a war for even a week. India is at-least growing near 7 % at the moment & got the highest Foreign investment, even more than China in 2016. These are simple economics.

Your economy is in very very deep trouble and big revolutionary steps are needed immediately to get it back on track. Every Pakistani needs to do a detailed study of the Economic affairs with their head than the hatred filled emotional heart. Emotions can only give you blind dummy hope. Friendship with India will give some ray of hope. Wake up from your fantasy world.

A high-level delegation from Washington is in Islamabad which comes after President Donald Trump called on Pakistan to ensure that its territory is not used to launch terrorist attacks on other countries.

Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said the US delegation led by Senator John McCain met Foreign Secretary Tahmina and Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz at the foreign ministry.
McCain said Pakistan has a significant role for establishment of peace and stability in Afghanistan. "Peace and stability in Afghanistan is not possible without Pakistan's help," he added.

The two sides also deliberated upon recent surge in violence in Indian-held Kashmir, which, Islamabad say, is a violation of human rights by Indian troops.

"Pakistan firmly believes in the legitimacy of the Kashmir cause and the peaceful struggle of the Kashmiri people to claim the right to self-determination," Sartaj Aziz said.

The US delegation assured Sartaj Washington will continue its policy regarding Kashmir issue and no change has been made in this regard.

"US wants end to violence in Kashmir. The issue should be resolved in peaceful way through negotiation," said the US senator.

Pakistan has the full support of China and still Pakistan cannot firmly tell the US what india needs to do for peace in the region. This failure in diplomacy is a glaring example of Pakistan's weakness. Sometimes certain things need to be told very bluntly and publicly and that is another lesson in diplomacy I never see coming from the Pakistani leaders.
