Lol China can decide the fate of Indian navy with our Df-21d positioned in Tibet, we can guaranty that none of Indians warship would dare to dock in Indian ports ever again for refuel and resupply, India will never be the sanctuary for its warships. You are wrong, No deal was signed for Qing class submarines...it was just rumour, published by irresponsible media.

IHS Janes published an article last year, that Pakistan was in negotiation with Chinese for 6 S-20 and deal will be finalised by end of 2014..but December came and went, nothing was finalised.

chinese submarines are not great. i would negotiate with germans and french. they make the best non-nuclear submarines on the planet.

If India strike first on Pakistan with tactical nuclear weapons, they can easily defeat Pak easily. Both Pakistan and India do not have enough nukes for MAD.

no ... they cant ... we can launch our Nukes by Air , Land and Sea ... even if India Launch 50 Nukes at us , within minutes more than 50 will land in India , who ever strike first does not have the upper hand ... Indians does not know where are our Nuke sites .. same goes with Pakistan ...

But then again if you are gonna target a vessel, which is sitting at anchor or docked in the harbour..then any ballistic missile can do that.

Hell Indian can destroy your aircraft carrier, while it is harboured in Ningbo.

How convenient to use your expensive strategical missile to target our ship while our cheap tartical missile can do the same or better job.

Thats an idiotic response, ballistic missile is a ballistic missile whether you call it tactical or strategic..if it is flying the same distance.

A 3000 Km strategic ballistic missile will cost the same as 3000 km tactical ballistic..as same number or stages are involved. Infact your DF-21 might cost more than our Agni 4 .

However there is no comparison of cost vs effect benefit an aircraft carrier cost $ 2-3 Billion..A ballistic missile cost $20 Million.
