India is investing US $ 1 trillion in building infrastructure its is not a single investment or a investment by a single company or nation.

The fact remains that there will be investment of US $ 1 trillion and India will have better infrastructure after 5 years due to the investment of US $ 1 trillion.

It doesn't matter which country invest how much in the end its the total target which matters and it will be achieved.

It seems Chinese companies are dying to have share in pie of India's Infrastructure market because the company who will invest have a share in the revenue/toll tax generated after the completion of the project and thus making profit. But some of brainless members here are showing stupidity.

The thing is that chinese are not foolish or emotional.

If they invest say a billion dollar in construction of a road in India they will get an opportunity to send their skilled labour + machinery + they will earn huge return in 20-30 years (its the stranded concessionaire period in India)

I just find it funny, that India is asking a rival nation like China to help them build something so vital as infrastructure.

And in fact, as your Indian friend said... we have already built billions of dollars worth of infrastructure in India.

You guys even get your national flag manufactured in China.

But according to you guys, all Chinese made things are crap. So why are you risking the lives of thousands of your fellow Indians, by getting us to build poor quality infrastructure for you?

If China constructs a Road in some Remote Village of Karnatka,What is harm in letting them do it.It is not that they are constructing Bunkers on LAC.

If China provides us with our national flag at costs lesser than it costs up to manufacture it,it saves money for us with which we can buy something else say weapons.This is simple Logic of free market.

China will invest money in Infrastructure.It cannot bring it's Conscript Labour to India as it do in africa and it won't make economic sense to import raw material used in construction from china due to high hauling costs so even if quality is not a hallmark of chinese,there is nothing to worry.

As i have said US $ 1 trillion is not a single investment or a investment by a single company or nation.

US $ 1 trillion is the amount which India will invest in its infrastructure in next 5 years and different companies and countries will chip in investment to make it to US $ 1 trillion.

while i am a bit skeptical about the amount . even if a quarter of it is invested in say the next 3 yrs it will help boost the economy tremendously.

Rao also suggested that Kerala, a natural tourist destination, should be promoted more aggressively in the US.

Infra development in kerala has its limitations but im sure both parties find a viable solution to make the state grow further.World class.

The GoI alone is spending $1 Trillion on investment in next 7 years so by next decade India will be like a new country.
