It is in our interest to see ISAF leave Afghanistan like this.

We should not support taliban but we should ensure that any collateral damage by drone attacks is repaid in terms of ISAF Soldier's lives..mostly American.The NATO casualties are too low at the moment.It should be high so they quit the war and leave us.Just get the hell out of this region.

Air strikes in Quetta?

Not happening.

Any air strike in a densely populated area by the US, that would cause innocent casualties, is a deliberate murder of any innocents that die in such an attack, and by innocents I mean ALL NON COMBATANTS, since I know some bigots (no better than the Taliban the likes of these) tend to club the gaggle of three year olds playing in the street as somehow being 'guilty of harboring the Taliban'.

Well if Pakistan did not responded to this as a state which i doubt because of the nature of commitments being made and promises being delieved by the beloved GOP, it seems very apparent.

US wont strike without getting some sort of secret understanding with the GOP and that is what worries me and should worry every pakistani because outside you protest but inreality you are in the same bed as they are and people are not fools not acknowledge the same.

That is what I fear, if a large Pakistani main area was to be targeted in any sense of the word, not just bombs from planes but even foreign men on the ground, it will turn into a disastrous nightmare. Pushtuns have a certain mindset, and they will feel more and more as if:

God forbid we ever come to something like that, it will be much more painful and horrible than Swat, probably a 100 times more

Read a column in news paper today by a retired general.He said there will be coup if govt agrees with this US Deal.Army will never let this happen as Quetta comes within Pakistan Government writ unlike FATA which is largely law less area also known as Alqa Ghair.Frankly i think its time we start supporting moderate elements in the taliban.To hell with US.Get out of Afghanistan.

Any Attack on Quetta will be an attack on Pakistan , Quetta is home to Command and Staff college. It is home to PAF Airbase Samugli , this will be a grave miss calculation on part of the Americans if they think that such a strike will go un-answered ( whether covertly or overtly ).

For me persoanlly Quetta holds a very special place , my father was posted there many times there , I've studied in Schools there, lived on Gulistan Road , eat nice pastires from Souza Bakery and got 'cassette kahanis' from book stores on Jinnah road.

Im ready to fight any American that puts a foot on the streets that I've lived on and have called home!

Don't mistake saber rattling with actual plans to hit Quetta. The U.S. is most likely trying to get Pakistan's attention. It is in Pakistan's interests to destroy all Taliban. by giving them a safe haven in any city will only make them stronger down the road. Also Any drone attacks in Pakistan have the covert approval of the Pakistani Government. If not you would see the Pakistani air force shooting down the drones. They are not that hard to hit or detect by a modern air force.

Agreed, US should understand if they attack on any muslim country it will be considered attack on all muslim ummah , even regime of country supported by USA like Pakistan.
