US, state sponsor of terrorism: Analyst

Spoken by someone who never bothered to study basic political science and have pretensions of sophisticated cynicism.

Who cares? Results matter more. When some other country matches USA in science, innovation and prowess, we can then say if that system works better or not. :D

China will match and overtake the US by 2030. Most of the science and innovation done in US is done by Chinese anyway.

Why don't these Chinese doing all this innovation USA do it in China? 2030 is still more than 15 years away. :D

Because we only started our reforms in 1978, it takes time to establish the proper science and innovation systems like abolishing unnecessary bureaucratic regulations, provide access to low cost capital to startups, lower taxes of businesses, develop consumer markets in every sector of every industry for companies to innovate and produce to earn revenues, develop deep and liquid financial markets to give the correct market signal to companies on whether they are succeeding or failing, allow the culture of risk taking and failure, allow market forces to determine the cost of land, labour, capital, energy, electricity, water, remove government meddling in micromanaging the economy and businesses, etc.

China is rapidly establishing all these mechanisms through reform to allow an environment for scientific discoveries and innovation to take place. 15 years is more than enough for China to match the US. Never underestimate the ability of China. US is nothing special. We can match them and eventually overtake them.

Yeah, all good plans. Please wait for actual results before claiming them. Good Luck! :D

Making Happy Meal toys and assembling iPhones is not innovation, is it? :D

If you read the Chinese Economy thread you might get a new perspective and away from the propaganda your brain has got used to everyday. But I guess reading that thread might bruise your ego too much

Okay, please guide me as to which product you think relies mainly on Chinese innovation?

It's funny that you use a revolution in Syria as an example. I've already gone over this with you before, the US doesn't favor either side. That also means the international world is lenient towards the Syrian regime and prefers it in power.

What is terrorism is the direct policy of the US in two wars which brought much death and destruction on two nations and their peoples. Even if some of it was justified, very little of the violence was.

From early childhood, they have been conditioned to worship Washington, the facts on the ground don't matter.

There is no revolution in Syria, there is Sunni/Wahabi terror.
