US sows discord in South Asia

Do you really think our problems start and stop with Zardari? There was a post a long time back that detailed how our entire politcial system is dominated by the feudals. They play musical chairs amongst themsleves to give an appearance of "democracy", but all it is is them taking turns at looting the country.

These two statements seem a bit contradictory?

Either America is playing India, or India is playing America by pretending to be a counter weight to China in this region. So which is it? Cause it can't be both.

As I have said earlier, India is too big a player to be used as a pawn.

How are they contradictory? India works with the US to play up the US-China rivalry. It works with China to play the 'Asian brotherhood' nonsense and the 'rising economies against the West' spiel. It works with Russia as 'old time buddies'.

India is saying the right thing to each audience. Of course, the Russians, Americans and Chinese are not stupid. They know what is going on, but they are playing along for now, since no one knows where the chips will fall in the superpower struggle.

It was Pakistan who brought them here in the first place so it will have to be Pakistan who have to kick them out of the region as well.As far as I can recall,there is no American presence in either China or India.

Everything else will follow in due time but prepare for a fight cuz Yanks don't take rejection all too well...

No, Pakistan did not bring US into Afghanistan. Pakistan isn't responsible for al queda gathering up in Afgh. Pakistan isnt responsible for AQ planning and launching 9/11 on USA. Pakistan isn't responsible that US wanted revenge and came into the region in the aftermath.

You don't see anything contradictory in those two statements?

India's policy has always been the same, non-aligned. Its not the situation of, as you like to put it, "America saying jump, and India saying how high". India will do whats beneficial for its interests.

Pakistan on the other hand have always acted like the side kick who keeps changing sides. In the past 50 years of so acted like the stooge of America, and now you run to China.

It will be funny to see when China metes out the same treatment. Imagine if China-India decides to improve relationship, what will Pakistan do then? Run back to America again! And all the animosity and hatred for the Americans will just vanish.

Pakistan will never want to be in the same bloc as India, cause it knows that India will have more importance and weight in any such alliance. And that would mean Pakistan loosing out to India on a lot of issues.

For example. imagine India-China-Pakistan alliance, China asks Pakistan to give up on Kashmir, and both sides agree on LOC. Will Pakistan give up on Kashmir? Don't think so, it will just run back to America.

Point being that India is not the problem child in South Asia.

the first part clearly&very simply states Indias foriegn policy & the other part shows pakistans immature & shortsighted policy
as our history tells some rajas&nawabs followed same policy some 175-200 years back and invited east india company to fight there wars seems like history is repeating itself in new form(PAK-US & Pak-China). Anyway my sincear opologies if anybody dosent likes my vies , Thanks .
