Horrible security checks? What are you babbling in light of Pakistan's behavior to our diplomats whom are afforded immunity by protocol and require severe security arrangements to stay alive long enough in your country to do their jobs. It is from Pakistan's border area that the worst attack upon American civilians was planned. Nonetheless, Pakistan's embassy is staffed by the full complement which has been requested.

MORE IMPORTANTLY-

Some 210,000 U.S. citizens of Pakistani descent reside in our nation, many of them first generation Americans (i.e. immigrants). The Pakistani Embassy estimates there are at least another 290,000 Pakistanis living here on temporary or work visas as well as illegally.

Care to compare any of that to Pakistan.

Try to walk through JFK as a Pakistani and then talk. By comparison Americans are treated with humongous hospitality. Your American JOB isn't supreme over the safety and well being of my countrymen.

Also, in a way they are protecting everyone, including the Americans. Are you seriously saying Americans are above committing crimes? History doesn't speak so highly of you, especially your diplomatic staff. So as long as they are venturing out of American consulates, they should go through the same checks placed upon any of us.

Perhaps Americans won't be rejected their visas if they didn't put forth candidates of questionable characteristics. Re-apply with newer candidates, simple as that. Tough.

You have diplomatic immunity from prosecution. There's nothing that prevents us from searching your vehicles for weapons and any illegal substances.

Yes, please cancel all aid . The majority of Pakistanis don't want aid. There is little to nothing really reaching Pakistanis, most of the aid is just bribe money for politicians subservient to Americans.

Pak will be in deep economic trouble without it. Forget Prez Zardari was demanding $100 billion not long ago. With money being doled out for rehab of Northwest and FATA as also the Baluchistan package. Pak need every penny as was visible during Prez Zardai's China and Freinds of Pak meetings.

Let us worry about deep economic problems. For 60 years we've received this aid and we've been in deep economic problems any way.

They have to be checked a regular amount, at least. Any airport worth its salt would check any minister before it boards a plane. What next, we allow diplomats on airlines without checking? Security checks are in place due to some reason or the other privy to the authorities. If they suspect there would be something illegal passing through a particular checkpoint, they'd check em. The idea is not to harass people, but to catch criminals. If you're not a criminal you've got nothing to worry about.

US couldnt stabilize Iraq which is 20-30 million population. Having a real difficult time in the Afghanistan

Pakistan population is MUCH larger than TWICE the population of both countries combined, with one of the largest Armed Forces in the world.

Yes we are not militarily superior to the US, but any talk of "US turn Pak into Afganistan in retaliation " is far from reality and just a dream that could not , under any circumstances, be a reality

As far as your logic goes, there should be no problem for muslims to be strip searched at US airports ???

Man there is a big difference between harassing and checking. The point is US or any other diplomats are not amenable to Pak laws. And there is reciprocity of these measures. So you guys check while the US is sitting on your aid.
