The only strategy Pakistan needs is to stop interferenace in its local affairs and backing of corrupt politicians or dictators like Zia and Zardari!

Shouldnt that be the strategy of Pakistani people themselves, rather than expecting it from a third country?

What can India do if every US Ambassador who comes in is a RAW diplomat; then gets "sucked in" and becomes a "seasoned US diplomat".
May be the Americans are unable to train their diplomat well enough ? Or is it something else ?

It goes to demonstrate how removed Pakistanis think they are from the ability to actually effect their government to follow a direction they want. You can see this even now in the struggle between the Supreme court and the ruling party controlling the Majlis - don't get me wrong, I don't think the supreme court is on the right course but look at how the structure of government is least concerned about what may be the interest of the people of Pakistan.

US - Whilst its ally is fighting the WoT for the US War which ist started in 2001, and whilst Pakistan depletes its Military resources, the US is assisting Pakistan's biggest enemy with weapons, Nuclear deals, worth billions of dollars..........

What does Pakistan get in return -

Devastated economy
Terrorism - whether supported by India or not
A fractured country
