Well, the people of Pakistan are the ones who elected Zardari in the first place too!

Yeah and I heard many say that it was an Insult to Zardari when Obama refused to meet him. I am amazed that they do not see Pakistan getting insulted, but a person getting insulted personally, when he is representing an entire Nation..

If America needs these routes to wind down then surely pak should be facilitating this.

This current quarrel seems like it should have happened years ago.

He is representing the policies and practises that the overwhelming majority of people are against.

The majority of zardaris actions have been against the people, so the people have no problem in seeing him get humiliated.

Zardari got snubbed, that's an excellent news. I wonder how he dealt with the embarrassment? Must have kept on reminding himself; ''Dont worry man, you have the money, which u will take to your grave too''

on this rare occasion i will agree with what zardri is apperantly doing..
He is playing a game with NATO / ISAF over Supply lines..He keeps giving them false hopes and does not open supply lines..He been doing this for the last 6 months and counting.....and his game isnt for honor or slala martyres..Its for money...and you cannot fathom how cunning this guy can be if he does not get the price he set for something..He has set 5000 USD per container and there is no chance that if he doesnt get the price he will ever let the NATO containers cross Pakistani soil...

He did the right thing by attending the NATO conference as declining the invitation would have gibven them another chance to blame Pakistan for non-cooperation...and Obama's Childish behaviour done a good job in infuriating Pakistani public even further..

When the Iraqi journalist threw his shoe at Bush, was it an insult to bush alone or the entire American nation. Because even the Americans weighed in on the insult.

See you all are missing the wood for the trees.. He is your leader and the stance he has taken would not have been so easy and not always wrong. I believe the US pressure was overwhelming for him to bear any more.. just my 2 cents

Also, that was a journalist not a state head, the insult was personal there..
