Looking at the the pics of killed dogs, they are pure bred German Shepherds and Belgian Shepherds from working lines. They must be pedigreed also.

Its such a waste of resources. Two dozen of these dogs could thwart major bomb attacks in a major city. If two each of these dogs are used on 12 airports, they would become more safer.

Training a dog starts early but for specialist training they are usually trained at 1 year of age for about 6-10 months, in rare cases 2-4 months even. A trained dog like this costs minimum 4000 to 5000 USD in Pakistan.

I can do nothing but look at pics helplessly.

Honestly, I don't know what the big deal is. They should have been buried and not piled up. Disgraceful : A man putting his feet up on them. Is all.

They are well taken care of, except for private companies. Like in this particular case.

Didn't USA gave military dogs status of military personals ,rather than tools? Is it not applicable for private security agencies?

This kind of actions should not come as surprise. Mercenary company (atm operating only from USA and Africa) attract most unsavory of characters. It is a group of gunman who do not have concept of honour which keep traditional armies in check.
