US military blames Pakistan for Salala killings

There is quite a possibility that the Pentagon investigation is correct and that the Pakistani troops would have fired first and US troops later retialiating. Given past experience, Pakstani military troops are known to be cockey and can indulge in adventurism. Or possibly they could have been told to fire to protect the bogies that they could have been protecting (the ones that the ISAF were chasing).

Anyhow, that was then. Now is different situation. Point is what will be the reaction of Pakistan and in which direction will Kiyani point things now politically and militarily.

Actually even if Pakistani who fired first make sense to me and all literate people , they were violating Pakistani airspace and Pakistan army did the right thing.

USA is killings thousands of innocents in Afghanistan and Pakistan , but they should know that defeat is written all over for them...

Sorry to say but the subject has been talked to the limits. anyone interested in Pakistani response must read its report complied by the army.

the Americans themselves inquired about the type of the equipment and weapons installed in both posts in the past.
(that negates their claim that they didnt know about the post)

the NATO/ ISAF troops that claim to have come under Pakistani fire were inside an Afghan village that is well beyond the range of weapons both Pakistani checkposts have.

The NATO report claims that the troops came under fire of heavy machine guns and mortar fire that were landing extremely close to them yet no report of any injuries or casualties.

the amount of fire power called in was unprecedented and is only seen in major operations in a sector that involved thousands of troops and planning. (suggesting it was premeditated)

even if the Fog of war and battle field confusion is given a credence, the Americans returned back after they stopped their attack. this is unjustifiable. the follow-up attack was clearing of evidence just like the American killer of 16 Afghan civilians. who managed to kill his victims and burn their bodies to clear any evidence.
