using artillery is easier said that done, you tried during kargil but to no avail which is why you had to send that migs over which was also to no avail.

Why doesn't India just make their own armed drones like China and Pakistan do.

You mean like what you do.

The problem is not drone making; the problem is bureaucratic procedures that no government is willing to change for the sake of 'transparency'. If it were upto textbook processes, we would have already inducted Rustom drones at least 3 years back. Sadly, most government officials and politicians in India are concerned about kickbacks from foreign companies selling drones rather than develop indigenous drones.
