The Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews etc. (non-Muslims in general) are non-natives/non-citizens and mostly temporary expats/workers. If KSA had Christian and Jewish minorities like once before, it would have made sense to have churches and synagogues. Not only that KSA is home to Makkah and Madinah and is distinct from other Muslim countries for this reason alone. You will not understand this. Non-Muslims are free to worship their Gods in the privacy of their homes. Proselytizing religions other than Islam openly is not allowed nor are there any active non-Muslim places of worship. Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz concluded his visit to Riyadh on Sunday with the participation of US President Donald Rumsfeld, who is paying a historic visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the participation of 55 Arab and Islamic countries.

Details of the Trump speech before the Arab Islamic Summit

Trump: This summit will announce the beginning of the end of the spread of terrorism

President of the United Arab Emirates, on Sunday, addressed the Arab and Muslim world, thanking Saudi Arabia for the wonderful hospitality from the moment of his arrival.

"Today we are starting a new chapter in partnership with Saudi Arabia," he said, adding that he was offering a message of friendship, hope and love on behalf of the American people.

Addressing leaders representing some 55 Arab and Muslim countries, Trump said he aimed to create a "coalition that completely eradicates extremism" and said it was aimed at peace, security and prosperity in the region and the rest of the world.

He said he had pledged to strengthen friendships of the American people and build new coalitions, noting that agreements signed with Saudi Arabia would provide thousands of jobs in both countries. Military cooperation agreements would help the Saudi army play a bigger role.

"We will take a historic step tonight to open the Anti-Extremism Center in Riyadh, thanking King Salman for his brilliant leadership," Trump said, stressing that the new center shows Muslims have the greatest role in fighting terrorism.

"We are ready to stand with you to seek common interests," he said, adding that the summit would mark the beginning of an end to terrorism.

Trump pointed out that about 95% of the victims of terrorism are Muslims, adding: We are ready to stand with you to seek common interests and security, and we must unite behind the single goal is to defeat terrorism and extremism.

The US president said that the future of the region can not be achieved without defeating terrorism and supporting ideas, stressing that the Middle East must be transformed into a global trade center.
