US is clearly standing with India against Pak : Report

USA should stop being a hypocrite to instruct and manipulate others and start by being truly friendly to all nations instead of being a scheming global policeman with secret agenda.

Maybe this will help reduce terrorist attacks on american soil

its July 2017 now
why not talk about November 1960, its the same Pakistan, same people.

Pakistan of the 1960s was very different

1) It was pre-Zia era

2) India & Pakistan did not even have borders and people were free to travel/move across

Indo-Pak relations were very good with both signing the Indus water treaty.

A lot has changed since then.

US is clearly standing with India against Pak : Report
of course they have common interest at the moment. Why would Uncle Sam go against his own interests ? Unless they got Pakistani type of leadership.
And one more thing: there are a lot of Pakistanis (both in civil and military) available on sale or rent to do any dirty job against their own motherland. Rest you can conclude easily.

US is always playing to balance to maintain the conflicts. Simply it stands with the one is LOSING.

Can't believe we fought against the Russians for these back stabbing sob's.

Like if the Americans were not involved, you wouldn't have interfered in Soviet-Afghan war ??? LOL :p:

Read some neutral history, Pakistan was well involved in the conflict long before the U.S interfered, actually it's the other way around. U.S.A just found a scapegoat/mercenary in Pakistan to fight for her interest in the region. Therefor they provided, training, support, money and equipment's. So there is no favor Pakistan did to U.S.A, rather it was an act of mutual interest. :p:

US is always playing to balance to maintain the conflicts. Simply it stands with the one is LOSING.

The same way they stood with China during WW-II against Japan, right mate ???? :p:

Did that happen until Japan attacked them first? Or tell me you cannot see the difference? Try harder.

But the fact is basically we are talking about the post-war strategy of US. Or you should better challenge me with a more long-go history when US wasn't even established, say like my talk is nothing. LOL.

  • A Pakistani foreign ministry official said the US is unhappy with Islamabad's efforts toward regional peace
  • Pakistan, in turn, told the US it blames New Delhi for poor relations
  • The US wants Pakistan to initiate dialogue with India, the official said
Washington is "clearly standing with New Delhi" and has told Pakistan it needs to improve its relationship with India, says a report on Monday in Pakistani newspaper The Nation, citing a senior foreign ministry official.

The official further told the newspaper that the US is unhappy with Pakistan's efforts toward regional peace and wants it to initiate dialogue with both India and Afghanistan to improve ties. He added that Pakistan believes it is doing it all it can.

"It is sad they don't want to acknowledge our anti-terror successes. They are repeating the 'do more' mantra. We believe now India and Afghanistan have to do more. We are doing what we can," the official told The Nation.

Pakistan, in turn, told the US it blames New Delhi and Kabul for poor relations.

"We have told them Pakistan has always wanted a dialogue but both India and Afghanistan were not responding," the official said.

Pakistan has been backed into a corner in the last couple of months after a series of actions by the US and the European Union.

Last month, the European Parliament adopted a resolution condemning the human rights situation in Pakistan.

The resolution, which was adopted by majority, expressed grave concern over the "roll-back in Pakistan of the respect for human rights and the rule of law," in particular the freedom granted to security forces, the use of military courts, the crackdown on NGOs, the intimidation of human rights defenders and religious minorities, and the increase in extrajudicial killings, reported IANS.

Then, last Wednesday, the US listed Pakistan among the nations providing "safe havens" to terrorists, saying terror groups like the LeT and JeM continued to operate, train, organise and fund-raise inside the country.

"Pakistan did not take sufficient action against other externally focused groups, such as Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in 2016, which continued to operate, train, organise, and fundraise in Pakistan," said the annual 'Country Report on Terrorism' from the US state department. LeT's founder Hafiz Saeed is the mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.

Also last week, the US said it was blocking $350 million in coalition support funds to Pakistan+ as it had not taken "sufficient actions" against the dreaded Haqqani terror network which has been behind terror attacks in Afghanistan.

Another official at the foreign ministry said to The Nation that Islamabad had told Washington that doubting Pakistan's role against terror would not be helpful.

"The world knows we have sacrificed a lot in the war on terror. The US also acknowledges it but it is strange they [the US] are toeing the Indian line," he added.

A retired Pakistani army veteran told The Nation that these US actions are a result of annoyance with Pakistan due to its strong ties with China.

"They [the US] are trying to put pressure on Pakistan. The US support for [Indian] Prime Minister [Narendra] Modi is designed to corner Pakistan and then force it to bow to India's superiority," said Naeem Lodhi, a retired Pakistani army lieutenant general.

The US is motivated by self-interest, he added.

"They want to break Pakistan-China friendship. The US is doing this for India and also for its own interest," Lodhi said.

In history of Pakistan, when US is with us beside when they need us?

When Pakistan start giving two cents to what other countries and nations are saying and their opinions, the world will become a much better place to live.

Now get on with this Panama paper case, get to the verdict pronto, bring hard core nationalist and patriotic leadership and see the difference it make within no time.

Did that happen until Japan attacked them first? Or tell me you cannot see the difference? Try harder.

Actually, the assumed condition for the lifting of the US oil and scrap embargo and unfreezing of Japanese assets in the US was a general Japanese withdrawal from China, or at least to the 1937 de facto border. Japan chose war instead.
