US immigrants landscape, Mexicans all over, Pakistanis nowhere

There is no conspiracy in it. I personally have been told by a couple of Indians after they left work that they were on a visit visa and they actually worked in the US and their employers (also Indian companies) brought them here and made them work and paid them in India. This is apparently a COMMON practice (while VERY illegal) now a days.

There is a vast Indian network at play who abuses H1B visas, different Visa statuses and makes all kinds of fake crap. There is no myth in there. I had multiple Indian recruiters we hired, lie to me by telling me there was NO American who applied for certain jobs and thus, all resumes were of Indians.

After an internal investigation, the truth came out, they ONLY promote Indian people and suppress everyone else's resumes for pretty much all kinds of jobs. American executives don't have the time to sit inside a recruiter's office and question him, as executives are busy. So they take what they get, thinking proper legal process of finding American talent was followed. When its not as many recruiters are Indians. There are many companies who are starting to take steps to avoid this but a LOT of damage has already happen and wrong people were put into roles when American labor was available. Something our government needs to pay serious attention to.

You KNOW all this but playing stupid. Here, check out some reality. It is A LOT worse than what hits the media (thanks to the Indian lobby big paying $$$$):

Worker shortage USED to be the case, it is no longer as there are a LOT of IT people out there. In fact, if you know ANYTHING business and strategy wise in the industry, by 2020, the IT systems would have reached a maturity level where IT workers won't be needed as much as they were till 2016-2018. By 2020, the US IT industry, up to 60% will have contract jobs only. No full time and the rates will be slashed. This tells you the "shortage", its ending at this point.

And the US schools and universities are pumping out a lot of local talent in this industry now, so time to get American kids to work vs, outsourcing them to elsewhere. After all, the Facebook, IBM, Google were started by Americans. They need to learn to use American talent.

Pakistanis are nowhere because the Pakistanis coming here are lower middle class of their own country exploiting the ability to sponsor their entire useless families here. Indians on the other hand, have networks set up to have even their lesser qualified folks go through various certifications and get fake experience put on their resume. Then there are the much better educated Indians who also show up and are well qualified to contribute to the American economy.

So the question is, why the heck as a Pakistani would I even want Pakistanis who ran a motor mechanic shop back home come out here and run the same? They best they achieve later on is that their children end up with 7/11s and Petrol stations. These people are stuck in their isolation, happy maxxing out credit cards while they wait for their third and fourth cousin removed to be brought in on the sponsorship scheme.
By comparison, even the Indian who comes running a mechanic shop from India goes through these certification teaching processes and with fake experience is still managing a SQL server system in some small firm. He qualifies as a professional and not a motor mechanic.

As for the Mexicans, it is their land(along with Native Americans) essentially.. they are from it so it is their right to take back this country from actual "immigrants".

how do you measure society falling apart? there are significant issues such as black-hispanic-white racism and guns but the society is progressively dealing with them and solving them. Until 10 years ago drugs were running rampant - now on the decline, to the point marijuana is regaining its place as a medicine! until 6 years ago same sex relations were illegal or taboo - now that's resolved once and for all. Health care issues are slowly getting resolved as well. Number of new drugs treatment regimes are rocketing up.

Economy is not tanking at all .

ALL the above bad things.......the US is STILL better than the entire globe. Our racial tension, like it exists everywhere else, isn't even 5% of as bad as its inside India. Our ruling party, or majority of the population (White) don't go around killing hundreds and at times thousands of its minorities like it happens in India !!!

One trend I found was more electrical, civil and mechanical engineers of Indian origin are finding good careers in US. looks like for some reason there has been a downward trend in US citizens opting for traditional engineering fields.

Indians are the same way. They came in Quantity, many of them had fake degrees from their colleges. Someone who used to work with me shared that when we had his farewell. Apparently there are recruiters inside India with connections to schools like Purdue and stuff who's somehow take failing students and in numbers, and send them over to the US where they'll all of a sudden have a bright future.

Bottom line, even below average Indian and Chinese are hard working and once they get to the US, they find their way around and be successful. The myth about Indians are "smarter being" is bullshit, like every other race, I've seen many below average ones to say the lease.

And irrespective of what you and your countrymen say on here, all different nationalities who work for me, have similar IQ, intelligence and hard working ethics. That is your perception dear...Not for every one around the world who apply for visa....BTW, i still feel that US is the land for opportunity,innovdation and above all, providing equality to a outsider immigrant which very few nations in this world can provide you....So for me, US still holds the card for another generation or may be 50 year to lead the show...Of course..US in 2015 is not the same as US in 1985...but the failure of stature of US does not mean that US is replaced by China...It will take another 2 generation for China to provide equality and quality social leaving that US provides to its people..

Let us be honest in our discussion...There are in fact instances which you have accused is true..There are instances where fake people does really come and exploit the system to get an entry...No one denies that....And that is applicable for even many other people too..But the million dollar question is that why not the Gov is not taking stringent action against these crooks? Personally i would love to see these crooks firms irrespective of which nationality it belongs to should be punished..But what i have seen, rather than they are punished, ther grow by each year and then they are part of the system by giving donation to the some of the political group..So it is really needed that the US political system should also punish these crooks rather than listening to corporate only..

Now, coming to your next question, i have an example of my personal experience...I have had an serious debate with my senior who is a German by native and he is a 1st generation American..He was started talking how immigrants from South Asia are messing up the system...And he is with opinion that South Asian people should be barred from coming to India as US is the land of so called "THEM" only...After some heated exchange of opinion..I got to know( Courtesy LInkedIn) that he has been graduated from Germany and born in Germany and of course...I respect him as a professional....So i was just curious and asked him...How come you came " THEM" and i became the typical "Indian" and how come i have less right to explore my career in this land where you have right to do so?...Is it just because of some reason which is not related to our Talent?,,,,,That shows the amount of racism, certain section of the society exhibits to others......

So do not try to be trying to naive to expect that every system or process is right...Based on your explanation...I agree with you that fake people do come to US with dubious credentials...But that does not discount the fact that majority of them are not the case what is being projected by you unless and otherwise..you have some specific bias due to some unknown reason which i am least interested to know..Same kind of Fake people and dubious credentials people i find that from local American people in different fields too..That does not mean that majority of the society is corrupt or intend to corrupt practices to meet their ends..

Off course they are. You have guys from IIT coming in here by the droves because they excel in their fields as compared to the proverbial "gora". There are brilliant "traditional" Americans too but as such they are a minority compared to the number of Indians and Chinese coming in.
