It is just a matter of time (or perhaps it already is), that largest number of foreign students studying in USA are of Chinese origin.

USA is a horrible place to live and work, and actually people are trying to run away, not come in. The society is falling apart, the economy is tanking, the dollar died last year for the fiftieth time, and the future is dark. People are desperate to learn Chinese, but they are too fat and stupid to learn it.

Pakistanis are nowhere because its getting increasing difficult for Pakistanis to obtain US visa. Same stands for UK. I have remained engaged in student counselling firm for a while and popular trend in Pakistan has shifted away from UK to Australia (those who can afford) Turkey, Malaysia, Poland. US was simply out of question.

Most Chinese students in the UK return either right after graduation or within a few years of graduation. They're mostly undergrad, MBA or English study only students. The UK just doesn't have the attraction and the Chinese population is still very low. The US is a different beast, especially NYC.

I've almost never been to the east coast of the US though, so there's not much I can say. I've spent most of my time in the midwest, southwest and California. out here its mostly Mexican, Filipino and Indian immigrants, while Chinese are mostly students and businesspeople. In California there's a strong established Chinese community made up of Southeast Asian diaspora, HKers and Taiwanese, not that many mainland Chinese though.

Btw, my best wishes on Ramadan. A sacred time that the chinese treat your fellow muslims in the worst manner, and restrict their religious rights during the month. Then again why would you care, for you it is China before any slight against your religion. A standard I have seen you not afford anyone else here.

You know what is cheating?

Cheating is showing / imposing yourself as someone which you are not.

For example "US_State_Department_retired". So why should we believe an impostor?

And btw number of Indians involved in all sort of coporate fraud at the higest levels is increasing with each passing day. There are news, in regular intervals where one indian or the other has been arrested for fraud.

So spare us all your moral lectures, dear Indian!

Indians are the same way. They came in Quantity, many of them had fake degrees from their colleges. Someone who used to work with me shared that when we had his farewell. Apparently there are recruiters inside India with connections to schools like Purdue and stuff who's somehow take failing students and in numbers, and send them over to the US where they'll all of a sudden have a bright future.

Bottom line, even below average Indian and Chinese are hard working and once they get to the US, they find their way around and be successful. The myth about Indians are "smarter being" is bullshit, like every other race, I've seen many below average ones to say the lease.
